Thanks for the sneak peek Luke! 2025 Backcountry X-RS with the 43 inch front end and the RAS RX front suspension is gonna be an absolute game changer. Looking forward to the rest of the videos coming!
And the big, exciting news is where exactly? Refinements and updates to an existing line up didn’t live up to the hype of your preview video yesterday. Where’s my yawn emoji? 😴
Finally listened to their customers! Going to be interested seeing a comparison to a switchback assault now
About time they put the trail front end on the backcountry
The front end now looks like a Polaris or Cat with the A-arms more parallel to the ground.
I swear that the primary motivation of BRP marketing in the past decade has been to use the letters X, S, and R as many times as possible.
If these new Backcountry's handle as good as an Assault. They should be one heck of a sled!
Front end looks more like a Polaris trail sled. Looks flatter. Finally...
The RAS RX and new ski is gonna be 🔥 Aftermarket guys have been trying to flatten those A-Arms for years with positive results. Nice to see Ski-Doo going after it!
Hmmmm.... Wonder if new front end can be retrofitted to my 2023 BC XRS?
Very exciting. I'm more excited than all the Lesters put together!
😆
Now with the trail front end, how will it ride and steer compared to a Swicthback??
SHOCKER!! New year, new ski doo front end and new sk that greatly improves the handling! 😂😂😂
Great vid, keep it up guys! You’ve done a fantastic job during this very challenging snow year.
Appreciate that!
Hopefully they lightened up the steering a bit (especially on the 4 strokes). Though not terrible, Polaris and Cat are far better in that department. And if we could get a slightly taller seat we would be in business. All about the ergos as I get older.
Ski-Doo is always innovating! If you're excited about that from end it's got to be good! Looking forward to more of the videos.
They just caught up to the other manufacturers front ends. Maybe…. They just did a reveiw and said ski doos front end was the worst of the 3 manufacturers so…
@@CCH-R
Yeah I saw that video and the other 100 that they mentioned the lack luster front end on Ski-doo's but if you watched this whole video he mentioned 3 different things that Ski-doo added to this sled for the 2025 season so that's where they are innovating. They are an industry leader in most areas. R motion still can't be beat over a decade later and they still make improvements to it from time to time.
@@Paisteboy it’s easy to innovate when you don’t have a budget. Ski doo has been bailed out of bankruptcy a couple times now. The other manufacturers don’t have that option. The fact that they don’t have the best sled by a huge margin is sad….
If the 2024 was the best yet , what’s the 2025 do better !
Was wondering if a trail width front end would come to the backcountry, have mixed feelings about it, wonder how the much off trail capability takes a hit with it
Happy to see wide front option!
Trail wide front end on a Backcountry XRS?
SOLD!!!!!!!
Imagine that new front end with smart shocks on the trail sleds
Yup, why buy a Backcountry without SS when you can get an XRS with SS.
Finally the wider front end!! You don’t have to buy the aftermarket spindles to get extra width
To bad they didn't put that new ski and suspension on the Renegade. I and many would have bought a new one.
Agree with you one thousand percent. Need that ski on the Adrenaline and Blizzard too. My guess is there's a corner of the warehouse piled to the ceiling with Pilot skis and they need to get rid of them first before going across the entire lineup.
I'm sure you are correct but those old ski's are recalled :). but More important is what about the new suspension components?@@snowtrax
How has the steering effort changed? Would like to see reduced steering effort for those real long days of tight twisty trail ridding.
Very nice
Nice to see the changes to the new front suspension i have heard the race sled front ends where alot better handling than the trail sleds! Still waiting on a new 700 class motor that would definitely get me to update from my 18 blizzard.
Awesome
The only change I want to see is an xrs for under 15 grand!
I'm sure you could find one on Kijiji in a few weeks. Might not be new, but it'll be an XRS...
So it’s a Switchback competitor
so skidoo may be listening to customers a little... i've said on a pile of your videos that the XRS is supposed to a Race Replica stlye as it was originally intended to be and they kept moving it away from the race sled and just a bells n whistles trail sled. now its got the RS geometry which many have been tryin to to retrofit... not as extreme as the RS (spindles are like 40mm taller than RASx) the 600 comp is getting close to my idea short track. just need the 46mm kashima off the RAVE RE (i like the Skidoo body work more on trail sleds than lynx) at least we have more travel and clearance... the RAve RE and Comp are gonna be savages of sleds... RaveRE is $22k CAD... firggin yikes... a race team is selling 600RS out of the crate for 10K and another 2 or so to convert to 91 fuel and then minor clutching but i'd do that to either sled.
I bet Mike Isenburg will buy one of these….
You bet we will be buying a couple!
I would love for skidoo to actually offer the dongle they have on their website for the 10 inch display to track and store maps without needing to use your phone…. what’s up with that delay?
Looks suspiciously close to the front end of the Matryx. Not surprised.
To be the man, you gotta beat the man!..........And for some, that even involves copying.
To be honest all they have to do is get “real close”. Because the rest of the sled is far above any other manufacturer.
Was hoping for a new look guess they love being the "PUGS" of snowmobiles lool Thanks for the info Guys!!
Why would you want a 43 inch stance without smart shox?
Will skidoo have the wider front end with SS on the 2025 enduro
The Enduro has had the wider front end since maybe 2022 or 2023.
Is 43" ski stance the norm for modern trail sleds?
Skidoo started with the 43" with the 2020.5 model. Most other trail sleds are in the 42-42.5" range.
Yay
I will keep my 2021 renegade
I’m officially retired and drawing my pension and I said if I got to see this day I was buying a new sled and I think I found it
Ya only live once! You made it to retirement and you should enjoy it to the max. Go get yourself a new Skidoo!!!!
Now you just have to cross your fingers for a better winter next season!
Tell your wife we all said it's OK!!!!
It's just unbelievable, the heart of snow country in northern Wisconsin trails were never opened. At least in Minocqua
@@livingtiny7083 that sucks brother. We’re all experiencing low snow conditions. Here in Atlantic Canada we’ve been hit with a couple of big storms at the start of February which really helped our season.
Make this sled and sell it for 7 grand and I’ll consider it.
Can I have my 3 minutes back?
To bad it will cost 30 grand ...
