For me, the biggest takeaway from this episode is that if Heaven is so strict that its own, native citizens can get cast out over one mistake, then things really aren't looking good for Charlie's hotel.

I do love that after Loona's outburst about disguises in the last episode the members of IMP are now making sure to disguise themselves to blend into each new location.
I also like this is the first episode you see Loona drop into some sort of combat stance like she's about to rip the dude's throat out when he first comes through the wall. Makes me wonder if we'll eventually get a Loona fight scene in the future since she's the only one we haven't seen Kick-Ass yet outside of a few seconds during the commercial in the pilot

This episode was very entertaining and the highlights for me were Moxxie and Millie’s lovely moment, The Angel and Devil shoulder dynamic with the old guy, and the opera fight scene.
Also like how the show finally addressed the fact that the people the clients want dead end up in Hell with them. The CHERUB and IMP theme songs are also quite interesting parallels between each other.
I was looking forward to this reaction, all because of the “Santa” scene.

I will say that with this episode, it's more of a popcorn eat through with nothing really deep with the characters. Which is a good thing cause that shows they aren't doing a checklist of everything for each episode which could lead to burnout if they did that every episode.

In your review of ep 1, you ponder if there's a theme to what form Sinners take when they arrive in Hell. We got one hint with Angel Dust and Alastiar the info Vivzi have on their past (though it's not addressed in the show). But this issue showed it and other elements=
1- Type of Life they lived=
Angel Dust came from a Maffia family, so everyone in family takes a spider form after death, even his sister, Molly who did not go to Hell. the spider represents the web of crime they lived.
Loopty & Lyle from this episode were mechanical geniuses so their demon forms were mechanical. Also their forms reflect the aging accident they had even though that Loopty died just after after the aging.
2- Method of Death=
Alastair was a serial killer who hid his victim's bodies in a field people would hunt deer. In death his form has deer elements.
Lyle died due to falling piano so besides his mechanical body, he also has piano keys for teeth.
Fandoms have theorized that obsessions also influence their form, that their narrowed focus on a topic is shown in them becoming Cyclpoean demons. They point to Nifty's obsession with cleaning and Cherry Bomb's focus on explosives.
