Alphabet Park Adventure (V. Smile) Speedrun -

Run starts when the startup ends.
Here is a speedrun of the classic VTech V. Smile game "Alphabet Park Adventure". I am not sure if this is a world record, it might or it might not. Planning to get this run verified.
To make this run possible, glitches and shortcuts were used, such as the Exit Button Skip that can be done on most V.Smile games.
This was being played on a V. Smile Cyber Pocket through the TV-out port in mono audio.

Cool, I’m not the only person in the world that’s tried to speed run this. My best time was 22:22:47, ending the timer once I reached the ending gate on fun fair. Good luck getting your run verified!

Why would they make a kids game so terrifying, because every small child loves monsters, bugs, clowns and toys that try to kill you, i swear there had to be a deliberate intention to make something that would scare kids around age 5 and below. I'm actually very curious about the development process of the V Smile and this game, everything about it is uncanny to me, like what was the goal here? It has educational elements, but I've always felt there was something sinister going on beneath the surface.

The revision that changes the character designs adds minigames, and probably other gameplay changes so it will be longer.

The alligator part used to scare the shit out of me, and when the talking ducks swim by, this game is really unsettling, but it was my first game
