Oh, Sakuraba is so back. He's been very up and down in recent years, probably because he's so insanely overworked, but this has SOUL I really hope he enjoyed this project
Belive in Oneself from Tales of Xillia,Blood on the Keys from Star Ocean The Last Hope,Face Off from Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness,Xeno Factor from Exist Archive and every Dark Souls boss theme came after Eternal Sonata tho...
Say wathever you want about the comparisons between Suikoden 2 and Eiyuden, but the battle theme from the latter completely blows the rather okay but not great one from the former out of the water.
This is the essence of JRPG.
At 1:15 is where Sakuraba unleashes his Star Ocean side of the theme.
Omg, Sakuraba has been KILLING IT lately with these battle themes!! Nice!!
Agree!!
you can definitely hear some of his other games in this, especially from games like tales and star ocean
He's been getting studio recordings more frequently in the last few years, so his music is finally coming alive as intended.

best battle theme since his Eternal Sonata worked

I freaking love this battle theme. Even easy battles feel cool

Besides it being awesome Tales style, it really gives me original Naruto vibes 🔥

Absolute banger
Ooh this sounds so good!!
Could you upload the Boss Battle theme? Thank you ❤️🌟❤️🔥
Nicee
Sounds like tales of
Yep! Same composer!
@@TOPmusicman8 Great!
Ah yes, a theme song when you grind exp for that level 6 hero you just recruit 🤣
definitely 100% Sakuraba and 0% Suikoden
ゲーム業界もポリコレ進んでるね
Yes, but it is ok for me👍

I love the early Suikoden soundtracks, but the battle themes are among the least memorable tracks for me
As much as I love Gensou Suikoden IIs music, I must admit that this is more entertaining than the battle theme to Gensou Suikoden II.
