Grey Noise Ambient Sound for Ten Hours

  • Grey Noise is a noise color similar to Pink Noise and White Noise ambient sounds with less mid-range and more low and high frequencies. It's like having the old loudness button pressed on an old stereo system. You may like this one too: • Orange Noise for 10 Sw...
This makes for pleasant listening at lower volumes.
Many people love the Gray Noise despite it being one of the more obscure official noise colors.
It is sort of an electric version of a natural stream or water flowing over rocks. Good for listening at low levels and masking unwanted sound in the immediate acoustic environment. Listen to it during work or sleep.

Someday there will be headphones so small that I can play this into both ears in an undetectable way so I can focus, yet no one can claim that I'm not listening to their pointless small talk lol.
I'll just smile politely while staying relaxed & focused, & not feeling like they are taking up space in my head without paying rent! He he.

+Blood Eagle She could play a nice slow soft human heartbeat sound on another device at same time?
I would just strongly avoid having electronic devices near my child though! If you lay the device speaker on top of a ceramic bowl or earn, or experiment with various materials, you can sometimes turn them up loud enough to have them echo beautifully and resonating at more of a safe distance.

Me too, it is essentially white noise with the 'loudness' engaged if you ever had a stereo with that button back in the day. Our ears are most sensitive in the mid-range (originally as a function of survival most likely) So cutting the mids and boosting the highs, especially at low volumes makes it sonically savory.

This is the sound of silence. On low volume it's the perfect little filler and exactly what I feel like silence should be. I accidentally pressed mute like an hour in and it was so DISCONCERTING not to hear the low level rush I believe should always be there. It's like hearing the blood flow in my veins and it feels right :)

dalesnale Thanks for this. Listening to it is very relaxing and I can see its enormous meditative potential: it drowns out noise, provides a constant, gentle anchor, and is ten hours long. What more could you want? :)

if you connect all color noises and listen for awhile you can hear all the spirits talking. Most of them say that they either "not evil" or they are "evil"... most phrases repeat and those who are in pink noise know how to transform themselves and the voices to make it in current time. don't stop listening. train your mind to recognize what they are saying to you.
