- As promised, I’m going to start showing and featuring my collection room. I handmade all of the cabinets that are built in to my small room in my finished off basement. I wallpaper the exterior of the cabinets with vintage marvel and dark horse comics for a unique look.
Appreciate the shout out fam, I actually envy your display, I wish I had everything on the shelf and tucked nicely.

Years ago my wife promised me that if I made our seller of finished off space for her yoga and workout area and a playroom for the kids, I could carve out a small section for myself. I knew a good offer when I heard it and she lived up to her bargain and me this really cool spot. over the years, I’ve done some cabinet work and electrical and all of that and turned it into this. I really appreciate the support and standby for some more coming soon.

Love the display this is an awesome idea. And talking about missing items or stuff moved, my wife and I moved into the house were in about 4 and a half years ago and we have the same issue around here. And it’s always small stuff that isn’t important or threatening it’s just little everyday items. Chapstick, hair ties, allergy medicine, colognes, and some of her beauty stuff. We honestly have thought it’s just one of our passed family members playing around with us. Thank you for your service and also thanks to your sons, fair winds and following seas to them.
Thank you so much for checking out the video, I’m so glad that you liked it. Yes, until you experience something like this, it’s very hard to explain the impact that has living in your home. You really nailed it, nothing threatening, nothing vital but very much a real phenomenon. Over the past 2 1/2 decades my family has had no other choice other than to just sort of role with it and just kind of laugh about it when it happens. I’m just hoping that where those missiles went that they make it back into my collection one day as they’re quite expensive to replace on eBay.😂. They even come with batteries and a remote which really helps. I think they were somewhere between 20 or $25per pack. I’ll see if I can find the link and add it into the description. I don't think I'll ever army build classified. I tapped out with the 25th anniversary figs. Still read the comics though and occasionally get a classified fig.
I completely understand. When it comes to collecting classified for me, I pick & chose carefully. I’d rather have a few yes or a BAT or a crimson guard than a character I don’t really want for the sake of being a completionist. I’m working on adding some Grunts to the Joe team and that’s fun but I buy fewer and fewer because they’ve covered most of the ones I’ve wanted. Beautiful display dude! I’m not a GI Joe guy but I can respect another collectors interest and passion of other “franchises”.
Love what you did with the sides of the cabinets too, genius way to reuse. I love how you have the turntables set up as well.

Thank you very much for this feedback actually. I’m a new CZcamsr, trying to grow and always looking to get better. I’ll continue to improve the content and the format as this develops and hopefully you come back and see improvement in the future.
@hyperdrivecollections6460 If you want to share things like collection tours or displays which are cool, you need to consider the format. Vertical is fine for TikTok or YT shorts, but not long form collection videos like this one. It just makes it frustrating to watch and admire your display.

Where did you get those stands for the figures from?
Hello and thank you so much for checking out my video. Those little gray stands underneath their feet, some of them are black. Some of them are gray, those are actually vintage. Kenner Star Wars figure stands that you can buy from different companies or eBay. They fit the three and three-quarter inch Kenner Star Wars figures.just so happens that the G.I. Joe classified peg holes are exactly the same size, nice tight fit. I have good luck with them. Hope it helps.

I’m so glad you like it. Yeah definitely if you take the comic books and wanna wallpaper them to cabinetry your shelves or what have you, I find that contact cement works the best. It really lays down the comics over the surface if you have any questions about it,shoot me an email or something. I’d be happy to help.
@@hyperdrivecollections6460 yeah .actually just one more thing..... did ya put poly or some gloss hardner on top coat or just use the contact cement? It looked shinny like ya coated it with something. Thanks. And everything else looks awsome to.
Most of the comic book pages that I use have a gloss to them, they’re newer comics from the past 20 years. The newspaper print type comics doesn’t have any shine to it and in those sections I did put a satin poly coat over it. I suppose you could put a poly coat over the whole thing with a foam roller if you really wanted to, I just figured with the gloss of the paper, that would be sufficient. Hope it helps.
