So if it has to be cut to unload, why was it not cut before loading?
It's usually more valuable for a logger to sell it as big as possible, the mill will cut it on site after they evaluate it. Plus in those places, the trucker will put 2 straps on one log instead of six straps on three logs lol

Quite interesting to see. I don't fully understand why they did not cut full length planks / lumber from the tree. But maybe their machines are not big enough to do that and maybe there is not a big enough market for such long planks or lumber.

I would hate to see the pathology of the lungs for those who work without any safety equipment. This would be illegal in just about every country in the world except here where the value of life doesn’t exist. Is it really worth the lives of the crew? Are they even told that they will die an agonising death due to their employers not providing safety equipment?
I’m appalled by how they are permitted to work in such dangerous environments ⚰️⚰️⚰️🕊️
