Holy lord, that first 10-Lvl3 Octopus w/ Lvl3 Tiger team is absolutely the stuff of nightmares
In a point of peak irony, though, it could be almost completely countered by a single Lvl1 iguana, which is absolutely wild.
Real David vs Goliath stuff
As long as it survives the first octopus, which could be a challenge with it dealing 6 x 6 damage before each attack
Or a beefy racoon
You could counter iguana whith a turkey tho.

Crazy too because if the back seagulls with mushrooms get sniped, they just respawn and get supplied by the other gulls

So here's a thought: could you have a potentially endless (if not endless then at least really long) battle by having four level 3 seagulls and a single octopus all with mushrooms mirror match? Cause the octopus would randomly snipe the seagulls, sure, but then the seagulls that are left would just give them back a mushroom. And then because they died, that would refresh their counter so that as long as it's not the same seagull sniped over and over, they could give mushroom back to the seagulls that gave them mushroom and have it go on for who knows how long.

The Seagullx3/Tiger/Octopus is brutal. I also like that Elephant+Donut / Triceratops build in the second game.

This is the funniest build I've seen in a while.
the best way to fix alpaca is to have it only have 1 trigger but at level 3 it keeps it at +2 experience but 2 triggers so it’s worth leveling up to 3. could also have it where level 1 is 1 XP 1 trigger, 2 is 2 XP 2 triggers, and 3 is 3 and 3
2 +2 triggers actually seems pretty balanced

The only thing to upgrade 1th vid. Is to stat up tiger so the mushroom doesnt go to waste for it

You should do an egg, tomato, and toad build. Honestly they need to switch the toad and lionfish's tiers. It's much easier to make enemies weak with the toad and it effects more pets. A lionfish can only affect 3 pets. That's really pathetic.
Way to fix this is to just have the trigger fizzle when there are no targets instead of holding it like the ability should still go off. So when the Octopus spawn from mushroom, each seagull triggers, first mushroom goes on octopus, then the other two just fizzle while still triggering. Avoids what they were trying to fix and fixes the incidental overpoweredness.

@@phoonfrags8765 They specified in the patch notes they were trying to fix a status effect applying twice to the same pet. This fixes that, while also fixing 14 triggers to the same animal from 4 seagulls. You would still only get effectively the same effect as if you had one seagull.

Could you do something with 2 seagulls and an elephant. Where the elephant kills the 1 1 seagull behind it, and the other seagull gives it a mushroom. That might reset the number of triggers on the seagulls.
But why reset the seagull if it's behind a unit that doesn't summon anything? What's the seagull doing taking hits from an elephant in the first place? It has no hurt trigger.
@@Yenreihe’s saying because it dying would bring its triggers back up to 3, than being able to bring the elephant back 3 more times, which would become weird quick. But without a feint trigger. It’s completely useless
@@yearniethefox9506 maybe something like a dart frog/vulture or a bear behind could do something. I'm just wondering how many resummons you could get things would trigger, could you get a large amount of death triggers similar to how people use slugs.
Always feels like the devs just spin a wheel of random things to do/add, watch chaos ensue, then balance stuff based on the community finding everything out for them.
All that for a game that's somewhat basic complexity wise, but is gonna probably cost >25$ to have full acces to when the gold pack is released...... iinteresting I guess.
I have absolutely no problem with a dev throwing anything they think of at the wall and seeing what sticks, assuming proper balance after. The alternative is a stale gamestate that doesn't have any experimentation and abilities that dont feel fun.. guess we'll just have to wait and see what ends up on the actual update

I see comments like yours all the time. I dont get what the problem is, devs want to try and make new things so they do and put it into a test server. I assume teamwood isnt that big so they rely alot on the test server and the community feedback. The basic gameplay is its selling point but basic doesnt mean braindead. They can still add in simple to understand pets that shake the meta. Also if u dont like it dont buy it. The other 2 packs were like 5 bucks cheapass

Macaque falls off hard late game. Also that early level up was really lucky
Yeah Macaque usually does well for about a minute but can't last for more than that

Wait… so did the Octopus do 360 damage from its ability alone??? 18 damage per attack x 10 octopi x 2 because of the Tiger? Yikes… 😳
best part about this is that you add more damage dependent on the octopus stats and the possibility of it surviving for additional triggers

That Triceratops build was absolutely ridiculous. It wasn't even maxed out and yet it gave plus 108/108 to the elephant.
I have the feeling they'll change seagull to only work in shop and not in battles.
