    Hi Angela. I would also like to make a suggestion. If you add to the title “for those with disabilities” that would attract a larger audience. This is my favorite vacuum. I’ve used it for 5 years in my own home and have just started cleaning houses full time on my own and I’ve purchased a new one that I use solely for my clients’ houses. I love it because the suction is great, it’s easy to clean, it’s lightweight and I can easily and quickly get underneath furniture. I’ve purchased several extra filters so that I can use a clean filter for each clients’ house. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

    great review. a few tips from someone who has been working on vacuum cleaners for 15+ years. if your home is mostly wall to wall carpeting, having a rotating brush on a vacuum floor nozzle is important. these can be used for string and larger debris but if you have lots of carpet, I would look at the Bissell power force compact for a lightweight easy choice for carpet. its an upright but its extremely small and easy to manage and it has the rotating brush to remove hair and dust from carpeting. if your home is all hardwood or tile then the straight suction is good enough. I understand the disability part. im mildly physically disabled and there are days where a lighter smaller vacuum is better for me.

Love that I'm not buying endless filters for it. Its suction is more than adequate. It's easy to clean. This man makes it look like it's soooo hard to disassemble and reassemble, but it's not. Excellent! I don't live near sand, but my parking lot somehow produces tiny bits of asphalt crumbs. I wipe my feet before coming in, but between myself and my dog it gets "sandy" inside anyway. This sounds great for that!
      Actually, that probably means that it's great for sandy clumping cat litter, too. I use bit wood pellets, but I think most people use that clay sand. They could probably market this with a picture of someone vacuuming that up too!

    I have this vacuum and bought it during Covid so it's 4 years old. This literally has been the best vacuum I've ever owned. My friend visits with her 3 labs and I have to empty the canister 3 times it gets every little hair. It will lift throw rugs right off the floor its so strong. I use it on berber carpet and tile. I customized mine - duct tape on all the connections except the bottom one - it also easily reaches the ceiling and corners and spiders, whatever. I'm tall so I carry the canister around with one hand and vacuum with the other. I wash the filter in the sink with Dawn and a toothbrush and when you do that, it's just like new with the suction again. Can't recommend it more

    The Zing does not have a beater brush that I know of. I use the Zing for hard floors and dusting furniture. I have a second vacuum for carpet that is an Eureka Powerspeed upright. I found that one type of vacuum is not great for all surfaces. I have had a canister type of vacuum that did have the power “beater brush” but they are more expensive that having two inexpensive ones and don’t really clean that much better. I have several suggestions: 1. Empty the bag less types after each use. Don’t wait until the container is full before emptying. 2. You can get a good brush attachment for hard floors online that will work much better that the combo attachment that is provided. I don’t think it work very well on any floor. 3. The bag version of the Zing works better than the bag less and you don’t have to dump it after every use. However the bags cost more and are more difficult to replace. I also use my old Zing outdoors and to clean my car. It’s much better than a Shop Vac.

    After using the Zing several times a week for several weeks, I appreciate it more and more! Our dog sheds heavily and this vac makes it easy to clean up. I did have two problems-both easy adjustments to make. First- the plastic wand, through static cling, would attract hair on the outside, making it hard to clean. I simply exchanged it for an older metal wand and vac head that I had from my Kenmore vac. Doing this also solved my second problem, which was the lack weight on the vac head vs the suction power the vac has. It had no balance to it because it was so lightweight on the floor and I couldn’t get it to clean rugs because it wouldn’t turn loose of them. The old Kenmore head is heavy enough to balance the suction and now I have the perfect vac for getting jobs done!

    @anyascelticcreations Před rokem +1

    What an amazing review! This tells far more info than any of the sites that are selling it! Thank you!
    It sounds like this is almost exactly what I am looking for.
    I have a nice canister upright, but I bought it thinking that I was moving to a place with carpet. It turns out my place has almost all tile.
    With all hard floor the kitty and dog fur collects in all the places that an upright vacuum can't reach. So I was bending over using the short hose with no extension wand while dragging the heavy upright behind. Ouch! That was killing my back and making me dread the task.
    But I wanted something better than a stick vacuum. And I didn't want the motor part in my hand like a stick vacuum if you take off the floor plate to get in the crevices. That kills the back and requires bending over, too.
    I wanted something lightweight that has the motor part on the ground, not in my hand. I wanted a nice long hose and extension wand so I could get in all those furry places without bending over at all. I wanted no beater brush because a spinning brush just kicks the kitty litter across the hard floor. I wanted one that just sucks without kicking anything around. I wanted something that is as easy to empty as my nice upright canister vacuum.
    And I wanted something quiet that I can use at night without bothering the neighbors and that won't scare my cats or my dog. Hmm.
    It sounds like this meets all of my needs perfectly except for the noise. But with a slightly smaller motor maybe it is a tiny bit less noise? At least a little? At least with no spinning beater brush it won't be hitting against the vinyl layer that covers the concrete in the bedrooms.
    Realistically, if I want a decent amount of power, it is going to make a fair amount of noise. I don't think there is really much getting around that except for not having a brush to hit the odd material bedroom floors.
    And if it turns out that it really is as loud as my upright, it sounds like it really is what I need in every other way.
    (Besides, one of my 2 favorite colors is this lovely bright green. So that makes it almost impossible to resist. Lol.)
    To be honest, I was already planning to buy this vacuum before I watched this video. I was just doing my homework to be sure. And this awesome video answered all of the questions that I had. Thank you!
    I will be buying this vacuum for sure, hopefully in the next week or two.

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  Před 2 lety +4

      Hi Hepzi, you can still use this vacuum, but I recommend getting a Universal attachment kit. Here is a paid link amzn.to/3yHlpoe for one that has everything from the upholstery tool to the one that cleans out the lint in your dryer. They will all attach nicely on the hose of your vacuum. (Any vacuum really. So if you have a vacuum now, a Universal kit will do the trick.)

    I noticed that while vacuuming, you are pulling the hose and face plate like a broom. Did not see a pushing action like a regular vacuum. Can you push the hose or is it strictly a pulling ( like a broom ) action?

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  Před 2 lety +1

      You can on hardwood flooring. The wheels on the face place are about the size of a quarter, so they don't roll well on carpet. Great question.

    Hi Angela, I have the Bissell power force, I'm just wondering what the difference is between the zing And the one I have? They look identical

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  Před rokem +2

      While the Bissell Power Force and Bissell Zing vacuum cleaners may look similar, there are a few key differences between the two models. The Power Force is designed for more heavy-duty cleaning and comes with a larger dirt container and stronger suction power. The Zing, on the other hand, is designed for more lightweight cleaning tasks and is generally more portable and easy to maneuver. Additionally, the Zing often comes with a smaller price tag, making it a more affordable option for those on a budget.

Right now I use an old toothbrush and do it outside but I am still dealing with an enormous amount of dust billowing out (no matter which way the wind blows it gets all over me) and it takes a good 5 minutes to clear the filter to a workable condition.

    Hi Angela, great video as always! I am looking for a vacuum cleaner, and this one may foot the bill for small cleanups perfectly.
    I have 2 teens and a preteen that are in and out of the house. I also have 4 cats and a Chihuahua, so pet hair is a constant issue.

    I've been looking at this for a while but the extender poles look short. I'm 5'8, do you think I'd be in a stooped or bent over position while using it? I can't seem to find any measurements for it.

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi Jennifer, I too am 5'8 and yes, you will be stooped over and in a bent position when using it. It is a canister vacuum so the whole concept works off vacuuming with a hose rather than that of an upright where you have something more durable and much taller to push around.

    • @jenniferklotzer2794

      @@AskAngelaBrown thanks so much for the reply! So helpful to know. Decades ago I had a canister vacuum that had a long pole, it was probably a Kenmore, early 80s. That thing had a a three section extension, was a work horse and lasted the longest time. I only got rid of it because I couldn't find bags anymore.

    I don't have hardwood floors. My apartment is all low pile carpet that collects a lot of dust. Can I buy a rotating brush head for this vacuum to use instead of the one it comes with? I am a disabled Senior. Thanks for your help. 🙂

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  Před 2 lety +2

      When you say disabled - are you in a chair or using a walker? If you are, then yes, you can operate this with one hand. If you still have your balance available to you, I might recommend an upright vacuum that already has a beater bar or brush head on it. This Bissell (paid link amzn.to/3paWwNl) is ultra light weight is also bagless but will do better on your carpets. This way you are not bending over as much.

    • @lilflower25
      @lilflower25 Před 2 lety

      @@AskAngelaBrown The link isn't for a Bissell. It's the Eureka Airspeed. I'm not in a chair or using a walker, but have a lot of other issues. So pushing a heavy vacuum is not an option for me. But I would like a beater bar. Are there any affordable canisters with one? Or a really lightweight upright? The reviews on this vacuum say it's really hard to push.

      This vacuum is not to be confused with one you would use for professional cleaning situations. This is a machine designed for light pickup jobs in homes. The price of the machine is a fraction of the cost of a pro vacuum, and the parts are comparable to the price.
