Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee culture. Growing, processing, and drinking coffee is part of everyday life and has been for centuries.
Coffee is still commonly enjoyed in Ethiopia as part of a ceremonial preparation, a gathering of family and friends. The senior-most woman of the household will roast the coffee in a pan and grind it fresh before brewing. The process takes about an hour from start to finish and is considered a regular show of hospitality.
In this video, Joey takes a modern approach to this age-old tradition by cold brewing SJCB's newest single-origin Ethiopian coffee and sharing it with her co-workers.
After some trial and error, Joey came up with this fantastic recipe:
1.100g of coffee, 700ml of filtered water (1:7 ratio)
2. Grind size: Setting 20 on Malkonig x54 (finer than usual cold brew recipes)
3. Brew for 18 hours
4. Share with friends!

Coworkers aren’t your friends , that’s what women fail to understand
I'm a woman and I have the same mindset or attitude, actually it's the experience that has made me realize most ppl, coworkers gonna put the knife in your back slowly while smiling face front.
I don't think it's a matter of female/male thing
Some ppl like myself seem to rub ppl the wrong way no matter what I do.
So I am lonewolfing just to preserve my energy & peace of mind.
Also i used to bring stuff to work, but didn't like this forced pressure having to bring shite to your good for nothing coworkers who don't even deserve anything good.
So I stopped with the forced labour & expectations of ONLY women to bring food to the table to moochers who don't give anything back
Same with the gift giving
I told them from the beginning, which is probably why they started to hate me, because I didnt follow their shut rules, I told them i don't want to contribute any money to any gift deposot, buying stuff to ppl i loathe, no thank you.
I'd rather be hated & left alone lol
