I'm going to grow laten today on veloccis relm, and I'm definitely trying this!
It would be better if they got more bleed or a venom bite at night instead of the heal rate IMO. Healing bleed isn't an issue with these guys since you'll either die in one hit anyway or be able to hide and lay down really quick to heal fatal bleed normally.
I don’t think raptors can do venom bites.. But they could get more bleed in next combat update.

thats the problem with packs in this game. Very rarely will you find a pack for the smaller dinosaurs, and even if you do there's a good chance they will betray you. You're more likely to find a pack of apex predators than you are to find a pack of raptors, and as a result you spend all of your time as a raptor alone and unable to hunt.
I grew the laten as my first dinosaur and I've had some of my best moments with it (mostly during the baby stages). I am extremely happy the laten got animation reworks and new abilities!

I just started the game a couple days ago. This is my first Dino, I do feel not as strong as my friends that are playing Megs, Alos or Rexs. But I do admit this guy is a blast to play, the noises, animations, jumping off everything and up mountain sides is a lot of fun. I was hoping they would get more than just a bite though.
Apparently they're getting a pounce attack to latch onto the sides of Dinos soon

have you listened to the call of the night terrors screech? it sounds so nightmarish it makes me want to play it right now! also those mixpackers at craters were really dumb for doing that you were so close to!
Fun Laten fighting tip!!! Us your precise movement and back up to a cliff or rock etc to get counter hits on them.

Laten was my first, and i still love it deeply and do main it along with deino and modded utah

@@yellowtones God, yea thats what i love it for as well, the pounce with the bleed included! it disappoints me that the laten and deino don't have anything like that at all, especially since they're famous for that kinda stuff. makes me feel extremely uneasy when having to drink too honestly, this game really needs some thin water streams

Is giving trophies to random Amargas a thing or something? cause that happened to me today when 2 metris bumped into me and the first bit me and then the second gave me a trophy and then they ran away. This was on the official too.
Also Amarga was my first dino to hit adult.

Nobody is talking about the merge characters not working for a lot of people. I can't play concave, dilo, or pachy because i made more than one. And it won't let me merge them or even play them and i don't know what to do.😢😭

I always liked Utah raptor because of the similar look it had to Jurassic World’s velociraptor model. I want to try out laten tho because I’ve never used it. Also if your still reading, I know this is off topic, but how come the velociraptor looks so much different than in the movies?
Because in the movies, Jurassic wanted to make things more "scarier" and "cooler". They wanted to, I guess, shine more light on a dinosaur that is tiny irl but more larger and interesting in movies.

@@fizzy4050 Velociraptor was the size of a turkey and fully feathered. And no, it didn't look like a feathery lizard, if they were alive today they would most likely be considered straight up birds.

Would be pretty sick if they made the little raptors flutter their wings on long falls just before they land and tske away fall damage 😂
They do. They take less fall damage (like, significantly less) and their fall is much slower than most other dinosaurs, with a little outstretched arm animation so it's pretty apparent that they're descending at a glide.

Does anyone recommend buying the regular edition or the deluxe for the game? Would be a first time player and really wanna learn the game and have a lot to start with. Waited till night stalker update dropped
The regular edition gives you every dinosaur unlocked aswell as the capability of mods on all platforms deluxe gives all that but now all creatures get an extra skin just make sure you have either game pass ultimate or gold for Xbox or PS+ for Playstation or Nintendo online for switch
I'd recommend the standard edition, the deluxe is just skins(admittedly good looking skins, but still cosmetics)

Too bad you cant really rotate in a group fight to heal because whenever your group engages combat, so do you, which stops healing. Still, laten is quite fun to play.

Why can’t they add the night pitch black like the isle? If they wanna focus on the horror aspect more they need to add pitch black nights.
The isle is pure 💩 compared to pot tho...gamebreaking bugs that existed upon evrima 1st release are even now still present ...everyone saying the isle is better than pot doesnt own pot
