Making Vital Sines

"Vital Sines" is constructed of several musical sequences and chaccone forms, all of which use repetition as means of development. It's overarching structure thus bears resemblance to the visual depiction of the sine wave, rising and falling like the tracing of breaths and heartbeats. The Piece is dedicated to my father's memory and the key moments in my life when I found sanctuary in music, when the music healed my heart."
