Guide Number Six: The First Combat Jet Fighter
So... yeah, I disappeared for the entire school semester in terms of guide-making. This video took a helluva alot longer mainly because of the script: I wanted to make sure I covered the bases of jet combat properly (even if the cilps behind them look completely noobish) and with two major patches dropping through the course of this video's creation, I lost a few replays but saved a few as well.
Next video, I'm going across the border for baguettes and wine.

The 30mms are so laughably slow that many jets can actually outrun them at most ranges, it makes sense though, jets weren't an opponent on the 262's battlefield.

Also, technically the rounds still move faster at muzzle velocity than any vehicle in WT atm: speed of sound at sea level is 343m/s, the Mk 108 rounds hit around Mach 1.5 at sea level

considering that my first ever match flying a jet aircraft had me flying a narwhal into a b29 3 minutes into the match, then flying away largely unscathed and surviving the whole match, i'd say that yes, it's pretty resiliant

The first step is correct you just select yak 23 instead. 0.3 br above but rapes 8.0s and a 6.3 match is more one sided than a gang rape.

A little note the BF 109 K4 The plane you research before the ME262 has one of the 30 mm mark 108 cannons so you can technically get some practice with the guns drop off Before you actually get the 262

Uh. 1.) The flatspin in Top Gun was over the ocean. 2.) There were 2 pilots in the. F-14 3.) This is a German jet 4.) This is a Me 262. 5.) The flatspin was caused by entering a jet's jetstream, killing the engine because there was not enough air.

How to fly the Yak-23? As long as you brain is still technically there should be easy, but still. Or maybe the other starter jets, like the P-80?
The yak-23 is a rapist at 7.3 and broke the 7.0 BR more than the .50cal both and Italian F-84G. Like you said as long as you have a brain anyone can fly the yak 23.
personally, i think it'd be good to cover early tier II planes, like the P-40. Planes where people are just exiting the more forgiving biplane era, and begin to get their first taste of how the rest of the tech tree will play out.
