I got my cays 2.0 in May also for saddle hunting. I have all my saddle gear and beast sticks loaded on it.i do a 2 to 3 mile walk with it 2 times a week since then.no issues. Packs and performs awsome.all my gear with the pack is 25.8 pounds weighed. Sturdy built if that helps. Love the video. The Mr roboto robot move was priceless. Love it.you have become one of my favorite utubers.

Man... Its hard to pick just one. I really like my KUIU venture 2300 as well as the tethrd pack. I also have a TX5 pack I love too. I stopped using the cays because it was so large and I was taking way to much crap in the woods with me.
Is this pack quiet, because the first gen was awful. It was so loud. The material inside the pockets sounded like you were opening a bag of chips when it was cold out.

Hey Joe, do you pack your mission platform in the actual designated platform section of this pack? If so, is it a good fit? Or do you put it inside the large zipper pocket?
@@rupert9196 it fits in spot it’s supposed to go. Fits nice. I been using pack and mini sticks mission platform. For last 2 months it’s really nice set up light easy to carry
I was told them ling side pockets is where I can place 2 sticks on each side if I twist the black teeth tree clencher things that grab in to tree but I'd have to carry a socket wrench w me .... I'll test it out but thanks for showing me how the back straps hold up the 2 sticks on each side
I’m not trying to hate in anyway on this pack but does anyone else think they missed it on the stick straps ? You tighten all your sticks and platform down and then you can’t access the main compartment. Then you have to unbuckle all the straps after you just got everything perfect and pull the sticks off just to access the main compartment. I do love the pack tho I’ll be using it this season
You can access the main compartment a little. You can also sinch the steps down first then add the platform and sinch that down last. So u can access the outer pocket.

Dude I made those. I literally cut them and applied them. U see that ply wood? I cut that to size too man. Call me a handyman. Watch out for your girl man, I have a perfect set of tools.

I heard that too. Now the pockets are all fleece lined. Seems pretty quiet now
That's good to hear because I bought the 1st gen and sold it soley because of the pockets being loud.
The zippers are still loud but at least u can change those

Not really, a .5 is way to big for that but ill try it lol.

not that I have heard of. I did have mine break the hanger strap. They sent me a new backpack and told me to keep the old one.
My only request is you have to robot walk into your spot every time you wear that pack. It’s a thing now.

It help up fine, I used on about 10 hunts last season. Im running the kuiu venture 2300 now. Wanted something a little heavier duty.
