An update on this video with the colorful theme will be greatly appreciated.
CML: The Philadelphia Chromosome is also called a (9;22) Translocation. Common treatments are tyrosine kinase inhibitors. CML patients tend to be older patients, where as ALL patients tend to be children. If you forget that ALL tends to be children- just remember that soap opera "ALL my Children."
+boxboxkick what is the mechanism that tyrosine kinase is inhibiting?
boxboxkick I've been taking Gleevec for seven years for CML and it works wonderfully!!!
tweetiebirdism you haven't showed any resistance to the drug? Most people actually change from gleevec (imatinib) to another tyrosine kinase inhibitor after some time because of resistance. Happy for you though!!

THANK YOU! This video was so helpful with my studying/reading!
Can you please make an updated version of this, i have an exam on this next week Thursday :(….. Management of Patients With Nonmalignant Hematologic Disorders, Management of Patients With Hematologic Neoplasms
My wife and I lost our just turned 2 year old son 7 months ago to Aml. He had MLL gene rearrangement or subtype KMT2A or 11q23. He had a translocation between chromosomes 6 and 11, t(6;11). He received cytarabine, daunorubicin, etoposide, gemtuzumab ozagamicin then mitoxNtrone and cytarabine. He relapsed after the second chemo which signified refractory Aml which had a poor prognosis. Decitabine with mylotarg was then used. He died shortly after from within 4 months of treatment. Some side effects he had were bloody nausea and diahrea. Horrible bloody mouth sores. He was in pain all over. His right eye was covered by a leukemia pool that ended up bleeding. He had a lot of liquid in his lungs which they thought was pnemonia. He ultimately died from a brain bleed within 24 hours caused we think by the chemo.
I am so sorryfor your loss.
I was diagnosed with Leukemia in the year 2018. I was
undergoing Chemotherapy but it was having so many side effects like hair fall,
mouth ulcers, loss of appetite, etc and I was totally fed up of my file and
wanted to end my life. Then suddenly, a ray of hope came to me through one of
my friend who told me about Ayurveda. I thought of trying the ayurveda and consulted
Dr. Vikram Chauhan, Dr. Vikram prescribed me with "Crab care pack". I
am taking these medicines currently and is better now.
There are many great resources now for your condition! I hope you get well
I know I've been studying too much when I suddenly realize I wanna marry this dude. But seriously, I love him so much for making sense of everything!
Thank you so much! You are too kind :)

I just found out that my best friend has leukemia. I can't stop wondering when I am going to get a call about what one she has. I also have a high risk of getting leukemia from my other health problems. Thank you for this video. Please pray for Reyna.
Dang, this is a throwback but just as amazing! So helpful
Trying to find a hematology doctor to do the blood to see if still in remission or leukemia coming back again is so hard. To find cancer doctors that our supportive of other cancer treatments and that understands that not all cancer patients want chemotherapy and radiation is very hard. Not everyone who has cancer wants chemotherapy and radiation for cancer treatments.
Tank you for doping this vidéo it is à big help.God bless you!
Out standing information ; excited to learn . 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Auer Rods are usually found in AML cells (Diagnostic)
Good lecture :)))
Yup yup! Specifically the M3 subtype of AML.
I was diagnosed with Large Granualar Lymphocytic Leukemia. Does this type of leukemia fall into one of these categories? With this type, I don't produce enough healthy white blood cells, rather than producing way too many.
I have that too, LGL along with diabetes2, Rheu Arthritis, and Hashimotos Thyroidisis! Whew! I too would like him to address this leukemia. Is there any treatment or do we have to wait until our white blood count is sky high? Practically no information is scareier than hell. I've heard of people getting chemo for it and dying from chemo. Taking meds that give you lung cancer. Whats the truth or does anyone know?
Where is part 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHH
