And i know if i or anyone has a chance to have u as a one on one teacher they will truly benefit. Your playing is literally UNREAL! I also wish u were on the chili peppers, you are literally at frusciantes lvl of playing, and possibly have surpassed it rn. That outro was absolutely INSANE. Just absolutely ridiculous my goodness.
Awesome mate! Really refreshing to see someone getting fantastic tones out of ‘normal’ kit. I love watching expensive gear reviews but this reminds me that there’s nothing wrong with the kit I have. My wife and bank balance salute you sir! Now I’m just peeved that I got shot of my original Ibanez wah year’s ago because the light weight plastic build annoyed me.... Idiot! Thanks for all your tips. I'm having trouble to avoid volume jump when using a telecaster with WH10 and BOSS DS2 (whith golden plexi), eventhough it sounds perfect when I use a strat with the same setup. Do you have any suggestion on how to make it sound as good with a tele ?
Hi Dave, interesting to see how and what pedals you love and use (it's always interesting to see which and how people use their pedals). Though I'm using my Zoom G2.1U in the loop (but I've mentioned that before), the rest is quite similar: I'm using the Zoom for reverb, delay and chorus and yes, I've set the expression pedal on reverb, like you, (though I've got some patches where it's set on volume). There's one big difference, however: I'm using the Zoom's compression for a volume jump. You've set two patches (B1 and B2) for volume jump. Why is that? Your Zoom is coming after your distortion pedals, so why not using the compression from the Zoom for a volume jump? Do you have a specific reason for that? Greeting from Holland, Eduard
Somehow we have got to find a way to get Dave a gig in the Albert Hall ( if it was good enough for Hendrix and Cream then definitely the right place for Dave). Might be able to swing it if we donate £10 each x 41K subscribers ? Probably have an enormous queue for tickets if it's box office only !
