  • Wanted to make a quick video going over the Overbore Systems SWVL light mount. Initially I was a little let down due to the fact the way it comes out of the box the light will be floating very far away from the rail/laser, but Overbore did make it known the shoe the light mount is reversible. Once reversing that shoe the mount absolutely exceeded my expectations and got the light sucked in nice and tight to the rail. I believe these should be restocking this weekend (Links below) so keep an eye out. If you have any questions feel free to reach out in the comments or over on my IG. Thanks guys!

    Myself being a big Cloud Defensive fan, this is very cool. I was jealous of the articulation Surefires could have and now this capability meets all scout footprints. Thanks for showing this!

    Without a doubt best light mount I’ve used. Very secure and the fit it has close to the rail is next level

    I was on board until hearing that with simple hand pressure the system has flex of that amount in it. The Surefire system does not have any flex. Why is this flexing?

      If I had to guess it's due to the fact the mounting point on the light is farther back and its creating leverage on the front end of the light. Now it only flexes a little when you go to screw the light head on and off. I also have it almost touching the rail so it's way more noticeable. I am around 700rds deep with this mount and it has been flawless!

    The reason it takes up 1 1/2 m-lock slots is so you can move the mount forward and back within a half m-lock space. If it was 1 m-lock space it would be “locked in” and you wouldn’t be able to place it exactly where you want the light to fit.

      That doesn't actually make sense, you can install mlok accessories at the half marks without issues as long as the GB gives clearance

    What do you use to make those blue marks on your screws?

    Will this compatible with modlite light body and M300 body ?

    • @sooshaggy
      @sooshaggy Před 7 měsíci

      Yes it's the same footprint. Pretty much all lights will fit except for maybe the legacy M620's. I feel like even those might be compatible if you mount them backwards but I have no way of knowing for sure
