- On Friday, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party Mr Peter Obi and his entourage visited Benin City in continuation of his nationwide campaign to solicit for votes ahead of the 2023 elections.
Wellington Akodeja reports that some Benin City residents abandoned their business activities in solidarity with the aspiration of the Labour Party's presidential candidate.

Even the rain that they sent to disrupt the event just merely showered the people and cool the temperature because the weather was really hot.
