I was one of the commentators for that. I was shocked to see it happen but now that I can see them moving ever so slightly into the attack it makes a little more sense. Still looks crazy though.

Diddy is supposed to get hit by the second kick, but due to the way Diddy bounces off the ground when knocked down, the second kick can't connect, but the first kick doesn't have knockback to send Diddy anywhere, since it's supposed to set up the second one. So basically, the first kick jab locked him without it actually being a jab lock?

I think the Diddy player can DI to adjust where they are on the platform, but I think it's true otherwise. This probably effects a few other characters too.
