Just so you know, an old trick in the day used to be to trade the caps from the radiator and the fuel tank. Since one is "vented" and one isn't, guess what happens??? Make sure the cap on your gas tank is "vented" !!
Believe it or now, I had almost that exact thing happen to me at Roy Brizio's shop a very long time ago. I touched the button on the bottom of the starter solenoid on a 46 woody. It engaged the starter and the solenoid stuck with the contact closed so it began creeping forward towards another car. I'm franticly pushing against it trying to keep it from moving and failing. Luckily, an employee saw what was happening and quickly bumped it out of gear quick enough to avoid any damage. Like you, I was shaking !!!!

Afternoon Travis, you are very fortunate that your Wife shares your passion, my Wife enjoyed my hot rod passion too, after 24 years of marriage she passed away last March 30th, she's in a better place now. The only advice I can give is to enjoy the time y'all have, tomorrow isn't guaranteed.

Love your honesty most people would not admit the lack of oil in the gearbox.
The engine is a fresh build I thought so it will take some time to settle in. Just drive it but put some tools in the tray.

Next time you go to parts store, buy a bottle of AT 205, about $15 bucks. Great to add to engine
oil for stopping any rear main leak. It is a great product. Has worked well for me. Research it
and I think you will be impressed. Great to soften seals and stop those leaks.

You probably have a wealth of mechanical knowledge in your subscribers that you should use
I’m a 40 year mechanic myself and more than happy to help
Just a quick one, if it stumbles when blipping from idle either accelerator pumps aren’t correct or there is not enough timing
All the best and thanks for the episode

The chome carbs were junk. After switching to his other carbs car runs 100x better. And no more stumbles. Wasn’t really noted in video about carb swap.

    Whoa whoa whoa
Just got to 54 min and highly distressed, don’t double gasket because you loose too much compression, take the heads off again and die grind a little recess into where the crown is, you can measure the recess if you use a clear plastic sheet and syringe with coloured fluid to even them up, then clean the head gasket face and use new gaskets, that brown poo is combustion gas going into the cooling system
Man for such a perfectionist with your sheet metal!! Come on, we all love what you do so put that same ideology into the rest
    It’s either right or wrong
    You don’t want wrong
