      Hello! Sort of related question - I don’t think my AirJet is accurately heating the tub - and it’s a brand new unit I got from a warranty replacement of my original heater/pump. It doesn’t seem as if the temp is registering accurately, nor is the heater turning on and off on its own as it should. Seems it heating all the time. Any tips on a reset or fixing this issue?

    Your videos have been a blessing since I decided to setup the hot tub this year. Sadly, energy prices are still insane :(
    I was wondering if you have any tips for the pump being loud. I don't think it's near E02 level but the humming is certainly louder than I remember since we're in a new house now and the pump is situated in a different location (past our decking in back garden) which I thought might provide enough distance so we didn't notice the sound. I also want to make sure it doesn't annoy neighbors. I already have it on thick rubber matting I got free from a local gym.
    We have a 2021 Paris tub and even with just the pump and heating on it's very loud. How are these new model pumps (yours is a different shape to mine). Mine is the egg shape.

      @@AbouttheHouse0 thanks agian ! we dont use our hot tub that often, so not sure how often to change the water. Is changing the water based on frequency of use/people usng it, or age of the water. I do top it up once in a while as it naturally gets some in the air (we tend to use it in the evenings). Thanks again.

    Another excellent video, always clear and to the point. Out of interest do you leave your heater and pump running 24/7 or is it better to have the heater off when not in use?

    • @AbouttheHouse0
      @AbouttheHouse0  Před 11 měsíci +3

      If you're on a single rate tarriff, leave it on 24/7, but maybe turn the set temp down 2-3 degrees between uses (as long as you can remember to turn it back up 1-2 hours before the next use)

    It's take me 1h to full the hot tub with hot tap and hose pipe. That costs me 1£ of gas. No chemicals. the hot tub is ready at 40deg in 1 hour. After use a use a puddle pump to pump 600l per min out. So it costs me £10 a month to run. That's also means no need for the silly lid inflatable that goes minging and deflates

    • @starsandnightvision

      7 months on. Still no issue with the filling up from hot tap. Infact plubed in the drain along a wall now so just put pump in and connet it to my drain paper to the drain. Only small issue. When it's cold and filling via hose the temp reaches 37 so needs to warm up on elec for a few hours to 40. In summer it's ready to go
