Great video mate, where would you put your straps on an attic truss??
Cheers mate, would be accross the ceiling cord (under the floor boards) and then just up the roof like normal, but not straight like we’ve done them because it’ll get in the way of the plasterboard. If that all makes sense haha
Great work. If you want to board these new build attic does it need some sort of reinforcing before the boards go on. Thanks.
They don’t recommend boarding them, I think that’s to save the plasterboard beneath cracking, so yeah I’d say strength it up slightly to be safe!
What type of insulation is going in there? Spray?
Hi mate, in the cavity it’s the blow in stuff from the inside and in the loft space it’s rockwool insulation think a minimum of 400mm
