I understand them both. Mother doesn’t want to go to new locality considering she spent whole her life here. Adamant but yet emotionally relatable. And being daughter I understand her part too asking her mother to be with her considering she is alone.

Parents work hard all their life to provide the best to their children .... they try to build a home which seems heaven to them.... ofcourse they want to live their last time in a place which is their very own... and in old age it becomes difficult to adjust to new environments...they worked hard all their life... now they deserve to live for theirselves only.... I cannot agree more.
I may be wrong, but I generally find is that, mom would accompany son if daughter in law is there. Otherwise family property is the greatest attachment.

Bit unrealistic. Well-educated career women these days are very sorted about their priorities. They rarely let go of a career growth op just because their parent isn't willing to relocate with them. In fact, many young women migrate overseas for better career prospects, even without parents' approval. Parents too prefer living by themselves into their late old age until it's no longer possible for them to live by themselves. Neither wants to be chained to the other.
