I live at Exmouth and Winderabandi is one our favourite camping locations along our beautiful coastline.
You did mention that most of the sites are booked out, and this happens to us as well, get down there and 3/4 empty, this is a Parks and Wildlife little con I feel, just want to limit the amount of people camping there, happens to often to be a coincident. I hope you still enjoyed your stay there anyway.
