I think the first taste test was a great demonstration of "Everything at Taco Bell tastes the same." The samples all tasted so similar that only way Rhett could tell them apart was by texture, not taste.

Yeah, but there's the fundamental problem with the burito test: the ingredients are never evenly distributed so you're not guaranteed to even know there's beans or beef or whatever with just one bite.
As someone who only gets Burritos, I agree. One bite is either all of one thing or it's everything except that one thing.
To be honest, I think this actually did prove that Taco Bell items largely taste the same. So much of the reason Rhett was able to differentiate between things was based on texture. As far as flavor differences, they seemed to be guessing much of the time, and it often came down to if one was slightly hotter than another item.
I agree with you, but I see it this way. Is that really a Taco Bell issue, or Mexican food issue? I feel like you would get the same results from any Mexican restaurant. It would be cool if they dug deeper into this

If you think about it, 3 Musketeers, Milky Way, Snickers, etc are all the same group of flavors, just taking away an ingredient at a time. People still have strong opinions about each, though!
