We developed this special kit of fairings and holders to be able to change the look of older Yamaha R6 2008 to the brand new fresh look of 2017+.

All these parts are mandatory for successful transformation of your old Yamaha R6 2008 to new model 2017+.

Do you guys have a road worthy version of these fairings? (Fitted with headlights, tail lights, indicators etc)

I just fit this on my 2007 R6. It fits nicely but had to make the gas cap hole a little bigger but everything else lined up perfectly. I also just had to trim the right side battery tray.
Did you need to do any trimming to make the ecu fit?
@@codycreger1968 That standard ECU box and power commander fit in the original area with no cutting. I also recommend changing your battery to a smaller lithium as the standard battery size wont fit under the new tank support. I have the MotoCell lithium battery. Its for the new R1 but can run with the older R6.

@@mattamos193 Hi bought it second hand off FB marketplace. I didn't buy it from Bikesplast. I did email the company but they never got back to me.
Pascalplast do a mutant kit as well and another company in the UK. I was going to buy the pascalplast mutant kit but then found the 2nd hand kit in my city. Pascalplast had really good communication and sent me heaps of pictures. They are also cheaper than Bikesplast.
I prefer old R6 way more than the new one. Btw great job !! Tho

That's a nice clean looking r6 conversion. Already veen seeing a lot of this and might have to do it on my 2006 r6 50th edition.Just want to ask if you guys can sell the bracket only?

I think so...that would be nice but it's the same engine and stuff there's no difference from 2016 to 2017 (when it was updated) besides the fairings

spafro101 worked out great just started other projects and got stuck when it came time to set up headlights. So far I have everything to be street legal except tail lights.
@@MOTTOTROOPER can you make video. I was thinking just use led strips for tail lights. Stick them to the plastic. The headlights are the one that I think would be difficult.
I am very curious if body position changes when on the bike(mostly seat to foot peg hight?) It looks like you raised the tank with that bracket, and possibly raised the seat area? this would maybe change the seat to foot peg height? Also maybe change how the bike feels when you are on it?

Can you connect normal fairings to the bike? That way you can have lights and it be streetable

Hi, this is only for 2006+. Not possible to do it for older models.
Where do the headlights, tail lights, seat, fans all that mount to? I don't see any cut outs or places for this. Is this only for a track setup? I want to convert my 2012 to a 2017 look, but it is a street bike not only for track. Thanks
Hi, this is only for track purpose kit. We don't produce street legal fairings.
BIKES PLAST that's unfortunate
It cannot be that difficult to make some holes for the lights to make this street legal, although would be nice if bikeplast did it.

I have an 08 r6 and would like to use the tank cover and the tail conversion with a rear taillight for street. I still like my front and side fairings better just want to change the back end!

I had never heard of race seats before !
Don’t you slide on them and loose control ? They must be hard for the bottom as well ? Are they used for their cost or lightness ?
They are usually pretty grippy so you wont slide too much. When on a track you shouldn't care how comfortable you are. That's not what a track bike is made for. It's both cost and weight effective as well
Lol bro when your racing you basically never even sitting down anyway.. they are just thinking little foam pads and the best models are flat seats like the m1 Rossi has so he can shift his weight evenly on turns
