Reminder again due to the scammers! I’ll draw the winner in the next video. Not on here. Dan
I picked up the organiser today 17/3/24 and very impressed with it I was tired of seeing loose wall plugs and different sized screws just lying around but this item is brilliant so I would recommend it to your subscribers also great video by the way
Great video Dan, I’ve got quite a few tools from Aldi and Lidl, the smaller tools are sometimes better quaility. I especially like the crocodile clips that Lidl sold and got a couple of packs. And with the cost of living at the moment it’s great seeing what’s on offer without having to go to the stores first. Keep going with tools and accessories videos, can’t wait for the next one. 😊
Been buying tools from Aldi and Lidl for years now and swear by them, particularly Parkside. Very sturdy, reliable and great value for money.
The best part of Lidl’s is the tool section, and it is also displayed better than Aldi. Thanks for your videos
Had plenty of tools from Lidl over the years and they are still going strong. Thank you for your hard work in these reviews, very much appreciated.
Great reviews - a first time for me, as Arnie said “I’ll be back!”
Have bought a lot of Parkside gear and so far no problems with them.
Very good videos about the drill bits I'll have to get some.
A great useful prize for many jobs
Went to school with a Michael Cooper in the 70s
Some nice tools for not to much money.
Interesting videos which I have not seen before. Your explanations are smooth to listen to and very concise and fair.
I'm a professional decorator and can tell you that the cheaper set of paintbrushes are for water based paints and the other set is for oil based . Considering there or 5 brushes in the expensive set it would be a better buy .
The beauty of Lidl and Aldi is their no quibble returns
Enjoy seeing the tool reviews
Another lovely video
Really useful video again. Great to see what's available to buy.
great review, i got the orbital sander sheets they fit my makita sander with no problem, i also got the light and the goggles bot good value was really surprised how clear the goggles were. had a bonus lidl visit lots of red stickers giving price reductions on items saved a fortune.
another great video with a great information on the featured items
With working different shifts, I find it very hard to get to the shops but watching your videos helps me find things very quickly. Keep the videos coming. I really appreciate it Gary
All ways like these videos. Very useful
I’m definitely going to try the safety goggles
Just recently on my visits to Aldi, they have very few tools on show. I keep looking for a battery operated recriptating saw. My 240v unit has had its day, it’s only lasted about 11 years. A great tool.
Visited Aldi while on holiday in kindness uk.a 20volt cordless drill for 24.99 GBP didn't have spare cash to purchase but will visit local Aldi soon hopefully enjoying your videos
Great review, I have a similar worklight from Aldi too 👍
Bought a set of scrapers, use them for removing silicon etc, small various sizes £24.99 in Toolstation or Screwfix ( can’t remember which) Aldi price - £6.99 virtually same set.
Drill bits and torch look good
Those Ferrex masonry drills are a use-once-and-throw-away item. The other drill bits are ok.
Paintbrushes are ok. I use them all the time for repair jobs. I do have a couple of nicer ones for detail work.
Thanks for showing us what's out there for cheap.
I Do Buy Lots Of Aldi & Lidl Tools And In My Opinion Most Of Them They Are Worth The Money
the middle isle delights :) good DIY items, does the job
I have bought many items at both Lidl and Aldi I have always found them to be good value and well made, a friend of mine gave me a router he got a set of bits at Lidl for five pounds, when we shop there it’s the first place I look
Long time listener, first time caller. Keep up the good work, maybe give some durability reviews the following month?
Every time I watch one of your videos, I can hear my wallet groaning.lol. Keep up the good work Dan.
Yh defo go for the soft brushes for the emulsion , cutting in so much tidier with the softer brushes, prefer a medium for glossing
Aldi and lidl giving the big boys a run for their money 👍👍👍👏👏👏
I always look in the reduced section at alldi/lidl
Great reviews, Dan. I often go and purchase after watching your channel. Could not find the drills.
I would agree with 90% of the things you showed, not safety glasses, It better to spend a bit more on you're safety, it better to go somewhere, where the sell only safety gear, to get right glasses or boots, for the work you doing,
good selection of drills
Organiser looks great.
Regular visitor to Aldi, would love the drill sets. Keep sending out the reviews 😊
Great channel and what I like about the drill bits is that they are divided into type each in their own box preventing you from getting them mixed up if they had all come in the same box
Great video Dan, the lamp looks like a useful tool
Good reviews and I wish my local Aldi had more things like you have tested.
A fair assessment of these so-called 'cheapy' tools. They are generally very good.
Hi Dan, Another superb video, the magnetic lamp is a superb addition for anyone working in tight corners.
Aldi and lidl tools are great value for money, I have quite a few and they do the job great for the average diyer
just come across your channel, very informative
Cant fault middle of lidl diy products, purchased some paint brushes V cheap. Great to use and throw away after using zinsser paints.
Thanks for the reviews, very well explained !
Hello.drill bits would be good.never have the right size 😂😂
Lidl had medium length levels for only 89p that was a steal! Good video thank you!
excellent upload as always
There is a chain of shops down here in Thailand called “Mr DIY”.
You’d have a field day in there!
Very useful and informative videos
A good excuse to go shopping. Thanks for all the videos.
I too am a Lidl enthusiast (great groceries too). I use the 3 paint brush set extensively. Excellent. As an aside, when using exterior gloss which needs brush cleaner, I use a dog comb (chrome plated with coarse prongs) to tease out the excess paint nakes cleaning them so much easier.
The thing I find with safety goggles/glasses is whether they steam up when used with a respirator type mask.
Love these tools from Aldi very reasonable quality for DIY work.
Thanks for taking the time to film and edit the videos.
Best wishes from Ireland 🇮🇪
The set of 3 brushes are more expensive per brush (£1.33 compared to £1.20) so makes sense that they're a slightly better feeling brush.
Great video Great information
Great video, like the look of those drill bits, good kit that.
I never knew Aldi and Lidl did such a range of tools. Great video.
Very useful channel, thanks.
I don't tend to visit Aldi & Lidls too often these days so these video's are helpful to see whats available and to get a good idea of quality etc., thanks for doing these, very helpful 🤞 for the drills 😊
Enjoy watching your videos keep up good work
Just came across your channel nice reviews the organiser is grate for fishing end tackle had mine some time
Lidl sanding pads are cracking value, they're pretty much all I ever use 👍👍.
I regularly buy tools and stuff from LIDL and have never been disappointed. As for ALDI I bought a motorbike jacket some years ago and it has been brilliant.
Those storage boxes are always useful.
Another useful video. I do like seeing what aldi and lidl have, there are some great gems you can find, but some stuff does seem a bit rough.
I saw a set of pliers in Aldi this week, in a lovely pouch, but didnt feel the quality was there
Lidl have another lot of tools out this week, Thurs 14th March, so do check those out too.
The Lidl paintbrushes are great to clean out the ash from your wood burner or fireplace. Far easier than the brush you get in a fireside set. Also have a couple for cleaning those difficult to reach bits of the car where a dustpan and brush set are too big to get your crud out of the small gaps inside the cat.
If your cat has 'small gaps inside', might I suggest a visit to the vet's.
Enjoy your tool reviews, well done Dan!
