As the person who cleans all the bathrooms in my house, I love the idea of tiling the whole bathroom. Way easier to clean than painted walls. But they should have done tile baseboards also.

As a designer, I absolutely love the floor to ceiling tile in the bathrooms and the tile pattern combinations. The dark almost black grout with the black cabinet fixtures is super attractive. The cream color of the subway tile blends perfectly with the weathered cabinets used throughout. Can we talk about the wood inlay in the coffered ceiling? What a cost effective way to create a dynamic design. There are just enough architectural design details to excite the senses without tipping over into overload. Great tour. I always love your videos.
Tile overload in the master bath...also do not like the same tile used in the kitchen and all baths.

Excellent video. Would you be able to do an episode on Manchaca/the very south end of Austin (Zip 78652)? It looks like there is a lot of development going on there (e.g., from Lennar, MI Homes), and the price per sq ft is increasing fast. There will also be a large mixed land community “Estancia Hill Country” with shops, schools, parks, and homes. Would love to hear your opinion on this area.

The tile pattern in the master is too busy for my personal taste. I'm torn about tile on all the walls in the bathroom, if you want to change the look of the room down the road, you'd have a much bigger challenge than just painting.

From just a resident regarding Tesla burbs. Del Valle, NE of DT Austin, is home to correction facility, closer to airport and one of the few areas not fully built out YET. Don't expect rolling Hill country views as I believe once farm land. Guess will remain workin class, young peeps kind of hood. If your an enterpriser/ entrepreneur this would be next growth/hot spot of Austin proper. Slight crime used to be an issue. Lots of opportunity the way Pfugerville was a decade ago. Congrats on Tesla and Elon and you! so exciting.🚀🏠

Can anybody tell me about the Southside of Austin like what areas are not expensive housing.. little to no crime rate...access to shopping grocery stores...I'm looking to relocate with my job nursing agency relocating from Georgia

i dont like that dark grouting in the bathrooms. i would feel like im in prison..
I absoutly hate Ship lap and barn doors I'm surprised there still showing up in homes so out of style. Builder needs to catch up and the bedrooms look like closets. I wouldn't put my kids in there. And the closets are useless children have clothes.
