  • One of our clients recently purchased a 1998 Honda Prelude as a project car. Some of what the vehicle needed in order to be cruising on the streets was a little more than what our client wanted to do himself. Brandon makes quick work of several issues to get the H22 back from the dead.

A wise move the owner made in calling U-Wrench first.

Ah yes, one of the most beautiful Hondas they ever released. And mechanically one of the biggest nightmares in recent memory.

Project cars are for people with money. Guy probably did his best thing bringing it to you to try and sort it out. Did his worst thing giving you a budget. Hope it works out for him. Bad thing with a car like that is you don’t know how the modifications were done. And you don’t know what kind of quality parts and job was done. Great job Brandon getting it to go

I know it wasnt asked, but imma throw it out there..Biggest problem(s) when people take on project cars, is not planning and rushing to make their super awesome drift/togue/ratrod/tuner dream-mobile.
If folks just slowed down and took their time before, during and after, they would have much "easier" success.

Yes, but most internet things kids watch are all instant gratification so they don’t want to take there time and do it right.

I had a heater hose spring a leak on an old Ford Falcon and it was spraying in such a way I thought I had a cracked head. I can’t tell you how upsetting that was but then the feeling of elation when you realize it’s a $5 section of hose. I don’t think he should have gotten a project car with so many unknowns without being able to work on it himself or at least organize all the parts for you!

Can confirm about projects! Had a CX500 that I did a head gasket on only to find out that the other side had a hole in the piston large enough you could see the entire top of the connecting rod 😆

Man what a mess, that has to be fun to work on. Hopefully he gets it all sorted out but you never know what other issues lurk on the horizon. I know it’s cold in Tucson right now, does your shop not have heat?

Yikes. Parts missing, engine condition questionable… 🤷🏻‍♂️
All needs to be done with a certain “budget”?!
Good luck to that guy. 🤞🏻

Well ... Your shop didn't fill with smoke when it started up. May it's not too bad ???
