Gauge 1 GTG at Adam H in Kent in July 2024

  • Together with a friend, we attended the two-day G1MRA GTG at Adam H in Kent. The truly huge layout is always a treat for keen Gauge 1 Livesteamers like us two. The constant switching between the upper circle and the loop around the lake means a lot of walking until your feet hurt. The 1 in 100 gradient in between makes the locomotives bark beautifully. It's a shame that it takes a whole day to get there, otherwise we would be there much more often.

      You're welcome. I'm glad you like the video. I can’t recall the owner of the Spam Can pulling 12 coaches. The Spam Can which can be seen from 02:15 is a coal fired one, made by John Barrett (not an Aster). Ian T was running it very competently. I only ran the King Arthur that weekend.
