Last time I was there, about 20 years ago as a tourist, the lake had a stench that was so horrible, you couldn't breathe. My father, when he was 16 in 1847, moved to Oregon via SLC and they swam there.

They should use Bangeter's pumps and pump sea water in from California... 😆

naw, why waste power and water while battling elevation increases when we have water closer that california gets from us. What we want to do instead is pay to build desalination plants for california to use and we get to keep california's share of water rights on the green river. Much more doable and is in plan to try for real. I hope it passes.
