Why I hated the Xbox Original Console(True Story)

- I just wanted to talk to everyone and if I may make a confession about my gaming journey. There was a console that I truly hated before and I felt as if my feelings towards it justifies why I hate and therefore believed so. It's good to reflect on previous decisions we've made in the past! The OG Xbox had so many great games! Kotor, Morrowind and Jade Empire are the first to come to mind! For me I would say it's the opposite! I used to buy every consoles and play on everything! Yes I still buy every systems but I've been realizing in the past year that I almost exclusively use my PS5... the reason is simple: the controller is just the right fit for me! I can play for hours without getting cramps! If Sony keeps the same form factor for it's controller next gen, I might buy only their console going forward! Great video and keep up the good work!
Thanks Dan, oh man don’t even get me started with Kotor i wished so badly that would come out on the PS2 back then and morrowind is just to great i dont think the PS2 has the ability to play that yet alone all of its dlc’s. Amazing games on the xbox for sure
I like hearing gaming stories like yours man, I didn't think it was cringe at all really. A lot of other people who I've seen talk about their consoles have had that same feeling regarding a new one that's challenging their own. For me it was similar except I never even really knew much about the og xbox when it came out. I never knew much about the Gamecube either. I loved playing my PS2 so much that I just kept buying games for it and I was having so much fun that I never even considered the new consoles. Later on when I worked at Atari I finally had to get acquainted with the xbox for the first time and I learned from my coworkers about the exclusive games I had missed out on.
Thanks Phil, you know it did start that way for me until the media started coming out with these wonderful trailers for xbox games that sometimes its hard not to miss while your watching tv, oh man the things that I would do differently if we were able to rewind time 😊. Oh how’s the vietnam trip going?
@@Fit2PlayGames The trip was good, my wife and I got back about a month ago actually. We saw a bunch of sights and also spent some time with her family there. It's good to get away but also good to come back home where things are comfortable :)
Im glad I didn’t know your wifey is vietnamese well i never really ask personal questions but thats why you loved that Vietnamese light design hanged at the old house. It is nice to get away for a bit and comeback even better, glad you guys got back safe. Any games while you were out in asia?
@@Fit2PlayGames Nah Vietnam doesn't really have the gaming culture that we have here and there are very few places that even sell games. Last time I went I did bring back some PS1 bootlegs though haha.
Bootlegs are fun as long as you have the spring that allows you play those games or a modded ps1, i know you have a modded one 😊. Too bad you would think its asia and they would have as a bigger gaming culture than we do but nope but its nice that way sometimes you gotta get away from gaming.
