I concur, Global League and Tournaments really hurt my soul, both because there's actual stakes in playing the game and because you can get paired with people who can take either twenty seconds or seven days on a move, and they're equally mentally taxing.
SPOILERS ... Who in their right mind would have "stealth build from opponent convinces StarFlash to resign" on their bingo card? Absolutely ingenious play. Despite the mistakes, you managed to stay in the game long enough, and close the income gap enough, that Sasha's Market Crash was hitting diminishing returns. It really looked bleak there for a minute, but you pulled through.
The turn where Starflash tried the double 70% chance (97-106 is 70% I believe) kind of lost him the game, and I love his playstyle for it. He just can't resist to go for the throat. One extra turn of positioning would have put you in such a tight corner that I feel like you wouldnt have been able to get any kind of counterattack anymore. You walled really well in that sequence though, nicely done!
You know a match is good when both players are thinking about resigning at various points in the battle. Spoiler: It really did come down to that bad roll on day 17. If he had done just a bit more damage with that attack I don't see how you could have salvaged the battle from there.
I’ve played StarFlash quite a few times and gosh he’s so good and fast. He’s also the person who helped me learn how to play this map (and destroyed me on it), so I am grateful for that 😂

Great game, it feels like the moral of the story here is "be careful when using a bunch of vehicle hits on infantry in range of opposing vehicles". Starflash lost so much value that turn.
Great Match and commentary, did not expect to you win with the income and comtower disadvantage at the beginning. But i have to nitpick on these WoW whisper sounds at 38:45 and 1:23:07

Maybe it's just me, with weird breathing or annoying mouth noises, or maybe it's the Jess theme song that's playing, or a combination of these. I'm trying to work on reducing the mouth noises because they kinda annoy me lol but it's a work in progress.
1:00:15 Can you explain what you mean by Hawke's COP doing more than 10% to certain injured units? You mean for instance the % change from 2HP to 1HP is technically 50% damage to that unit?
Exactly. So when looking at ‘Unit Value’, a 10hp inf dropping 1hp means 1000 to 900, so a 10% drop. But if it’s a 5hp inf dropping to 4hp, that’s a 20% drop. Now when taking this into account for multiple units on board with many of them injured, the damage is brutal.
I won’t show up on ‘current’ leaderboard because I’m not currently playing or queuing in GL. But if you check ‘all time’ I’ll show up. I’m 1500 overall 😊

Yup, I think it's important to find the right balance, finding just the right amount of matches at a time, to avoid getting burnout.
Definitely regarding tournaments. Skilled players give it their all in tournaments and even average players play at their best.

Starflash is probably the person I enjoy playing the most against. The game rarely stalls and if it does, it never last long.
My favorite match up. One can think Sasha has an end, but she's also in a timer. Really liked the copter spam from Starflash.

It was actually Global League, but we did start and end within just a few days, so it was definitely pretty fast for my standards lol

I would say Jokas is the only other player who could play as well and as fast as Starflash. Still, a very short list.
