      In the process of trying to get a laundromat. Always appreciate the content. Please do one soon on how to fix change machines if you can. I know a little bit about the tracks slipping but I’d like to see more. Thanks again

    any chance you have links to the diaphragms, can look up but hate redoing work that has already been done

    8:05. Better get out the Febreeze Odor Eliminator and perhaps the Lysol Laundry Sanitizer

    When I change a diaphragm, I change them all. I buy them in packs of 25. To easy not to do them all while in there.

  • @glenfrancis5396
    @glenfrancis5396 Před rokem

    And how long have you been doing this?? Only a rookie uses pliers to unscrew the stem to get to the diaphragm. How many have you broken??

    You can’t rapid run that machine? I know Huebsch you can and speed queen is pretty much the same

    So here is the $1,000 question.... Should you just replace all of those valves on all the washers at these same time? (assuming you got the new machines at the same time.) If one set is that bad, is it a good assumption that all of them will need to be replaced soon?

    • @juanvazquez2562
      @juanvazquez2562 Před rokem +1

      No point on doing that..too many variables. Not all machines have the same usage & not all waterfalls made the same..cheap valves, debris in water etc. I buy inlet valves in bulk & replace the entire valve. I have full time job. Not worth my time 2 work on same valve for the same issue more than necessary.

    as an owner you should clean its your store and if i came in and saw it dirty day after day it would say to me you as the owner does not care i often check with a place that has a cleaning person and see if the owner actualy does clean his or her store as we call them in my area.

  • @apctech1

    why is it you seem to be the lone hold out who does not change over to the card system to get rid of the quarters like we did

    • @williamjones3007
      @williamjones3007 Před rokem +1

      He isn't the "lone holdout." The vast majority of coin operated laundries do not need card systems. Yes it makes it easier for the store owner to handle the money, but customers hate it. They have to pay for a card, the card may get lost, they can't get any left over money off of the card. The card readers system is another $750 to $1000 per machine, and they break often due to the high humidity, water vapor and heat many laundries generate.
      everyone can get quarters.

      ^^^ 100% correct. I haven't either. No plans on doing so either. The data is skewed...most mats are still.coin.

      @@williamjones3007in our area cards out do quarters 5 to 1

    • @williamjones3007
      @williamjones3007 Před rokem +1

      @@apctech1 nice for you. The better question is do your customers prefer cards?
      another great question, what does it cost per machine to set up the car system? How often do you need to repair it? What is your ROI for the machines? Lastly, does it make it easier for your customers?

    Please tell the editor to stop putting music over the talking. I don’t know why people still do this it’s super annoying! Also the thumbnails are awful, looks like something from Tales From The Crypt, please clean them up. Long time subscriber, but lately I just can’t watch.

    • @williamjones3007
      @williamjones3007 Před rokem +1

      Yup... kick their asses out. His laundromat isn't a shelter. It is a business. The homeless are destructive, damaging, and often cause your customer's problems. It does NO ONE any good (even the homeless) by being the softie who is taken advantage of.
