Actual slaves didn't spend this much time talking about it.
I am so tired of this....they want to tear down monuments and get rid of reminders of slavery one day and then they want special days. What is Juneteenth for? In this country, there are only Americans who have varied and diverse heritages that no one should forget. You want to know how not to forget the mistakes that mankind has made and learn from them? Teach our kids real American history so that future generations don't repeat those horrible mistakes again.
With all of the problems on Planet Earth this guy wants to dig up the past. Get a job, brother! The kids today can't even spell slavery.
Al Green was a singer in the late 50s and early 60s. He quit singing to become a preacher. I thought that forgiveness was one of Christianity's main teachings?

When will this ever end? No offense, but what days/month do wyte people have? All lives matter and it's time to move on.
They don't WANT people to move on; it's all about using dissatisfied groups as a hammer against the rest of the country. First, the left tried dividing everyone by class, and when that didn't work, they moved on to race. Even that wasn't enough, so they had to invent all of these "marginalized" categories of people. The goal isn't even really to help these folks, not truly, but rather to use them to gain power.

Are we going to blame the country that actually started it, Africa? They traded the slaves off for merchandise from the British, then brought them to America. After the war, there was three ships provided for those who wanted to go back could. Why would they not knowing what would await them back in Africa.
