Blushes are one of my favourite products. I totally agree when you say that a deep colour can work for a fair skin as long as it's got a cool undertone, beacuse that's what experience has taught me. Thanks for the video! 🤗
Hi Maaike I’m a cream or liquid blush girl 😂 - my super dry skin just looks better with the extra moisture. I bought more blush last year than I have for a very long time. This was due to how many lilac pinks and purple pinks (plus straight up purple) were released. Whilst it was having a moment I stocked up😂. I bought Glossier wisp and Em cosmetics little lilac - both look cool pink on my very cool undertone with no orange in sight 🎉🎉🎉🎉. Made by Mitchell blursh in Dairy Queen is a true purple and looks surprisingly good on me. Saie chilly looks red on me and like I just got in from the cold. GA neo nude in 50 is a long term favourite and I hit pan last year. Flower beauty bubbly is an affordable very cool toned pink for those wanting something less spendy btw (another long term favourite). I often look to the deeper berry tones in blush despite being ultra pale as this is often the only shades that don’t turn orange on me. Rare beauty encourage is orange btw. In the Summer I will wear a pink toned coral or watermelon shade, but I want a cool toned blush most of the time. Best wishes x
I agree woth choosing a darker tone blush even if you have a light skintone. I think Spark is such an underrated Cloud Paint shade, its a bright red but its slightly pink leanig, works great for a natural flush
Hi Maaike, fantastic collection, especially powder blushes! I am very fair skinned and still like to pick a deep colour blushes. I agree it can totally work. You should have picked up the darkest shade of those MUA liquid blushes, it is very flattering for us light skinned when blended. Oh and that purple Urban Decay remains one of the nicest colours out there, I wish there was a precise dupe…! Have a great weekend! x
Tha one from EM Cosmetic ❤ I have the Venetian Rose in both forms, liquid blush and powder. They are so good. Some time I say to myself that I could have gone for 2 different shades...and then I'm like no, those two are ok. 😅
I’ve see some things I’m interested in. Like the Giorgio Armani Neonude 50 gray mauve. I love muted blushes. Things mixed with brown or gray. It just looks better on me.
Oooh lavender/purple blushes are so beautiful! I have Glossier wisp and Mac Glow Play in flowerescent already, but this About Tone one that you showed looks sooooo tempting 🤩 Thank you for the swatches, it really helps to see the undertones - I was interested in buying encourage from Rare Beauty, but this orange-ish base would make it look totally orange on me, so thank you for making me realize that. And I totally agree about buying even deeper blushes with correct undertone - I recently got Saie chilly, which looked super deep, but when sheered out on my cheeks it looks like the perfect winter flush and I absolutely love it.
@@FloatinginDreams yeah, I got mine on Cult Beauty and I just went for it - there was a set of 3 minis for Christmas and as I was interested in the colours that were included I decided to buy it and try them out this way (no stores in Poland carry Saie either, unfortunately). Formula is very pleasant to work with, reminds me a bit of A'pieu blushes, just a little more gel-like and glowy.
The Catrice oil infused blush is one of the best blushes I’ve tried hands down. And I don’t understand why they didn’t release more colors and they don’t even sell this shade anymore (at least where I live)
Whoa! Gorgeous! Im inspired but i dont need another blush! It does inspire me to shop my stash !
Definitely have a look at what you have first.

Yes so true. Shop what works for you, not what is marketed to you.

I think I may throw in the EM Cosmetics blush the next time I'm buying from them.

I just got a few shades to try not sure the darkest MUA shade was in stock when I bought it.

It is very pretty but can be difficult to find by now. Hope you can still find it.

I would love to try some Saie products but so far I think I can only get them through Cult Beauty. No way of swatching them.

Hi Maaike, the cream/liquid blush family grew more than I realized. So many pretty xhades.
It definitely did! But I love them.

It is so beautiful and indeed such a shame they never expanded that range.
