I like the clean, uninterrupted look of option 2. And any look you don't love can be repainted, so it seems like a fun experiment!

Beautiful transformation on your doors and moldings! Love the bi-fold door in your office. I have similar command hooks and they work so well. I’m on team option #1, but follow your heart and do what makes you happy. Both options are beautiful and interesting.

It's a super dark brown I'm using - Wenge from BM. It's not black but just as bold. Thanks for your thoughts!!
