Avatar is a later developed concept. Upanishads texts are not older than Buddhism. The written Sanskrit texts are not older than 400 or 500 BCE. So those texts can't prove that Modern Hinduism didn't copy from Buddhism. I was talking about evidence, about interpretations. Try to study scientific methods to prove the history using facts. You can't show me a statue of Rama or Khrishna older than Buddhism. The evidence shows the existence of Buddhism all around India before the rise of modern Hinduism. And some Hindus tried to change those statues and tried to make wrong interpretations sometimes. The Buddhist text contain a lot of information about a lot of religions in India. The Buddha and Buddhists argued with Brahamanins who studied Vedic texts, but they didn't discuss names of the modern Hindu Gods Rama and Khrishna, and other Avatars, including word Avatar itself. Also, according to the early Buddhist texts, the Brahamins didn't discuss with the Buddha about the teachings in Upanishads because most likely Upanishads didn't exist at that time. Later developed texts contain a lot of copied knowledge.

    20) You don't have time to celebrate the festival.
Don't worry. One more festival is coming! There are multiple festivals every single day of the year.
    21) You are a working person. Don't have time for religion. Its okay. You will still be a Hindu.
    22) You like to go to temples. Devotion is loved.

    27) "Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu " (May you all live happily)
You represent this! You're free to choose, my dear Hindu!
This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive .. That is why it has withstood the test of time inspite of repeated onslaught both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything . That is why it is eternal !!!
There is a saying in Rigveda , the first book ever known to mankind which depicts the Hinduism philosophy in a Nutshell -" Ano bhadrah Krathavo Yanthu Vishwathah"- Let the knowledge come to us from every direction..

It was alone so it did what every conscious being alone would do,it divided to avoid loneliness and this division was like an explosion from a single point (big bang). This led to formation of 2 dimensions space(Vishnu) and time(Shiva) .After some cooling quarks formed and then atom formed with electron(Brahma, attracted to proton and symbolised by growing out of Vishnu's navel),proton (Vishnu) and neutron(Shiva).
Then Brahma started creating everything symbolisation of exchanges of electron to form molecules compounds etc.
      Then life formed .
But there was also another thing which released during the explosion-shakti.

      Eg:
Brahma needs knowledge (Saraswati) to create
Vishnu needs wealth ( Lakshmi) to maintain and preserve
      Shiva needs Shakti(Parvati) to destroy.

No. In Vedas Brahma means supreme god. In puranas Brahma means four head Brahma who made the entire universe. Vedas are core part of Hinduism i.e sanathana dharma. Vedas explains the oneness of universe and explains about supreme god. Puranas are stories, mythology, cosmological events, social structure and give information of incarnations of supreme god. So the Brahma in puranas is four head Brahma and in Vedas Brahma is supreme god. Similarly in Vedas purusha means supreme god in puranas purusha means human. There are many synonyms for a word in Sanskrit.
      There are four Vedas
Rig Veda, Sama Veda, yajur Veda and Atharva Veda. These contains mantras. For explaining these mantras from the core part there are four types of explainations. They are Upanishads, aranyakas, samhithas and jyothishas.
Apart from these there are 18 puranas and 4 epics. Epics are ramayanam, mahabharatham , bhagavatham and devi bhagavatham.
And a well known holy Hindu scripture is Bhagavad Geeta.

hinduism is a made up word during Brit Raj season. and the proper word is Oppani not Upani. and it has nothing to do with the current religious practices. it was created long before man invented gods n religions. and when we were one with nature which is a creation of the universe. sit n figure it over a cuppa and rethink your stories

The Brhadaranyaka and the Chandogya are Upanishads earlier than Buddha was even Born.

@@sriramj7323, Ramayana story developed later because the Buddha mentioned it first. Rama-Panditha was one previous life of Buddha. Modern Hinduism likely used that Buddhist tale to make the Hindu story in order to make the Buddha an avatar of Vishnu. It was cheating. According to the Buddhist story, Seetha was Rama's sister. The modern Hindu story made her Rama's wife. And the Buddhist tale didn't mention Lanka, Hanuman, Ravan, and a war with Rama. Most likely, modern Hinduism was developed in south India after the invasion of the south Indian Kalinga Kindom by the north Indian King Ashok. All the written texts about Rama in modern Hinduism are not older than Buddhism. Don't try to use your imaginations to make the existing texts older than Buddhism. There is a difference between facts and unverifiable imaginations. Believing is not facts.
