Funnily enough, I use that exact vertical mouse as a daily driver on my work PC! I do a lot of 3D modeling, so I re-mapped the joystick to be able to tumble a 3d object in various modeling softwares and it has really sped up my workflow!

Yeah joysticks are so much better for 3D modeling work. I tried to navigate my CAD software in VR once at it was such a blast :O
I wouldn't recommend that for actual work, for a lot of stuff keyboard shortcuts and such are very useful but for just dragging stuff around and intuitively looking at a model, veryyy nice

I was expecting hot trash and we got a somewhat serviceable entry setup. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
I've actually been using that exact vertical mouse for a few years. I like it. I need a vertical mouse for wrist pain and this fits the job. I set the joystick to switch programs, so alt/tab + arrow keys. It actually works really good for productivity. Never really gamed with it though.

Every single item on Amazon, no matter how amazing, has 1 star reviews. Maybe try doing this again, looking for only items listed just a full 1 star rating.
I'd actually like that mouse, if it worked the way I though it does. Would be a really good accessibility aid for gamers, allowing someone to move their character and aim their weapon with the same hand and no need to WASD.
Also yeah, the microphone is REALLY sensitive, but it's a good mike for the price. just turn the gain down to like 10% and keep it a foot from your face and it's actually pretty solid.

The idea behind a vertical mouse is to put less strain on your wrist. A normal mouse require you to turn your hand palm downward. A vertical mouse is suppose to keep your hand in it's usual position and you be comfortable using the mouse over an extended period of time.

the dual cams would be useful for streaming musicians: have one on the face and the other on the synthesizer. another situation I can see that being handy is for artists one on the face the other on the work. for two person reaction channels. filming a podcast: host and guest cams

yeah I don't think it's possible to find anything on Amazon that only has a one star review, hence having to settle for things that have any one star reviews. the hardest part about cheap Amazon product reviews is that most people buy those things on there because they don't know what the fuck they're doing. you can usually tell because they leave a review the day they receive it, instead of using it for a while to see if it breaks, people that actually know what they're doing are after the pro stuff, but they might go for cheap Amazon products if they're low on cash, and when they leave a review you can usually tell because there'll be a long list of pros and cons and maybe comparisons to other products. review of the sort that is like "does what it says" "works great" is pretty fucking useless to anybody. people look at the reviews for reasons to buy or not buy something. saying something that is not much different from what's on the packaging is a waste of everybody's time all around.

Remember how Tosh.0 would do web redemptions? You should do a star redemption for actual 1 star items to see if they really deserve 1 star, and if they donât, actually leave a 5 star review.
That dual camera makes sense for video conferencing and if it was better quality with higher FPS and resolution it could even be a good starter for a 2 person podcast.
I use a vertical mouse because of wrist pain I've developed from gaming. I only use a normal mouse now when I play games. Much easier on my wrist and makes playing games more enjoyable since I have far less pain.
Usually much better content. Every product is 4+ star rating. Youâre better than this.

like he said most of the 5â reviews are fake anyway, and of the ones that aren't most of them are useless because they either don't say anything useful, or the person obviously didn't know what the hell they were talking about. in my experience a lot of the really low reviews are just "Karens" that are pissed about something dumb. if you're lucky you might see one review by somebody who actually knows what they're talking about and who also leaves useful information. you can usually tell by how it's worded in addition to the fact that there's more than three words and indeed they're usually more than three paragraphs.

The best part about that gaming keypad is the dedicated Internet Explorer hotkey bound to one of the function keys.
i see these dual cams in my kid's classroom - they run hybrid classes with one batch at home and one batch onsite. One of the cameras is for the teacher's/aide's face, while one is facing the blackboard.
I use that same mouse to play games and work. With updated software from the website it works great and they got updated ones with no joysticks as well

I actually have that same keyboard⊠however, when I bought it off Amazon for £45 it was listed as a mechanical red switch⊠I then went to clean it and started pulling the keys off where I found a membrane keyboard. I went onto Amazon to dispute it and they removed the listing
I had the same issue thought I had a mechanical keyboard for 15 dollars a steal right turns out its just a membrane keyboard with the bits to make it pass as a mechanical one

By mere coincidence I got that cmtek usb mic wayyyy before for zoom. It has served its purpose and still performs well as long as I donât put my mouth and talk right up against the mic.
I got a 1500 $ PC with RTX 3060, i7 Strix motherboard etc. I couldnât afford a cooler so I went with the stock cooler. Served well for 6 months now.

I got a 13 inch laptop with that same cpu with a dedicated graphics card for $400 brand new. I think that pc needs to have a 1650 or something like that just like the rest of the super mini gaming pc's that actually have a graphics card.

gtx 970 with a 4790 is like $150. Put in some crappy hp prebuilt grab a dell da-2 power brick for the gpu if the prebuilts power supply cannot be upgraded. Prolly cost less than this setup. But I would just save some more of buy a console at this price point.
