Nürburgring 24 Hours 2014 Various clips from the Green Hell

Another thing ticked off the bucket list, and another great vip experience courtesy of Michelin.
There isn't as much circus and show as you'll get at the Le Mans 24 Hour, but the surroundings are spectacular and the spectators are more dedicated than at any other racing event.
The Nürburgring is one of my all-time favorite places, but I must admit, that I prefer it on a quiet weekday. However no matter if you visit during the 24 hour race or at any other time you will experience the same fantastic atmosphere of car enthusiasm, racing, history and excitement that is constantly surrounding the amazing green hell.
Video wise, I would have loved to do a film that captured the above mentioned atmosphere, and delivered it in beautiful spectacular images. But we where on a pretty tight schedule, which meant that there wasn't much time to setup, or walk around spotting locations. Knowing that I went with a very simple setup of just my Canon 5D3 the super versatile 24-105 is lens, a Rode VMP some spare camera batteries, and a small Manfrotto 560B monopod.
