The S4 Avant video was shot during a week long road test. The car was brand new when I picked it up. It is an incredibly nice car where the quality of materials feels superior to what is found in both Mercedes Benz and BMW. Here in Denmark the S4, as reviewed, costs just over 198.000$
The video was captured with a Canon T3i/600D and a Canon Ixus 220HS. Edited in FCPX

Hey thanks for the reply. It's amazing I'm going try get some footage up. The power delivery is explosive like you said. I raced a new RS5 and left him for dead. The naturally aspirated v8s don't stand a chance unless the engines are really wound up.

De fandt kopien af jeres journalists kørerkort i handskerummet :)! var ude at prøve den for en lille uges tid siden! super dejlig bil!

Hi there
Thank you. My settings was very basic actually, shooting with the standard picture profile, with three different objectives, Canon 50mm 1.8 (Plastic) Canon kit 18-55 and Tokina 11-16. On the 600D it is very important to keep the ISO down. Other than that, just try to get the exposure right, remember the 180 degree shutter speed rule. Be patient when filming, and take as many clips as possible, so there is clips to choose from, when editing.

Please don't use your computer to narrate videos. This had absolutely fantastic shooting and editing, but was ruined by that terrible voice. Your own voice would be better. Or any human you know.

As one who was raised with two-stroke go-carts and mopeds, and being told again and again how important the break-in period is, I kind of feel the same way. However engineers and mechanics from different car brands tell me that with modern car engines it isn't all that important, and as long as the engine and oil is up to temperature, the engine will not be harmed in any way. Audi who owned this car said the same thing. However If I bought the beautifull S4 brand new, I would probably baby it the first many kilometers. Harm or no harm, I would be on the very safe side and postpone the satisfaction of letting it run to the redline a little.
