    Best Keezer video I have seen. The rest of them are pretty much making a video to say they have one on it.

    Great video and excellent build tips. My freezer just crapped out, and am having to build a new keezer (my old freezer is discontinued, and so I can't re-use the collar). Although I love the red and blue lines (and also had them in my old one) I will be using EvaBarrier lines and DuoTight fittings this time to minimize O2 ingress into both gas and product lines, and to minimize the product line lengths needed (thus eliminate the need for flow control faucets). I also include 120mmx120mm computer fans, which do a great job of keeping the temp profile more uniform, and preventing the top from getting warm (which mitigates warm lines & foamy first pours).

    Hey thanks for the awesome video! I’m just about done with my 3 tap system. I got all my hardware from the link in the description. It was super easy to assemble since all the tubing, clamps were precut and assembled. Cheers from Pflugerville 👍🏽🍻

    Nice Info 👍
    With the gasline coming out the side, you can just put a disconnect there, so there is no line you pull/push in & out. Keep the line on a hook behind the freezer and just connect when you need it 😉

    My keezer died on me a few months back. It was a 2 tap keezer and i had just got my 2nd cmb v10 to upgrade it when it died. Going to be building a new one here in the next few month. Got the wife on boad with getting a bigger one. So now i have to get at least one more v10. Lol first world problems right? Lol but i love the idea of the pull out gas line and havong a line to carb a keg while drinking the other. Thanks for the ideas.

    The 2 kegs in the front center don't look like they are going to be easy to get out. Looks like a bunch of lines will have to be disconnected. Personally, I don't like crossing over the top of the kegs with the gas and liquid lines. Nice build though.

    Great video, you guys use really thick lines! Are they nylon lines? I've been warned off basic nylon tubing as it can taint the flavour of liquids and have used specialised beverag lines instead that are 8mm external diameter but they are generic plastic colour. The blue colour though is a great idea for line separation! 🍻

    • @HomebrewHappyHour
      @HomebrewHappyHour  Před 3 lety +2

      We're using this tubing for our liquid lines: www.kegconnection.com/blue-gas-or-liquid-hose-5-16-id-9-16-od-per-foot/ and, since we implemented flow control, the ID can be larger since restriction on the beer is being managed by the flow control faucet! It's dual durameter and Bevflex markets it as being Phthalate-free and 'odorless'. We've been using it for years in other flow control builds and haven't had any leeching issues, thankfully!

      @gearhead1969 Před 3 lety +1

      We used Accuflex 204 beer line. It's a dual durometer hose that works great. Been using that style of hose for years with no issues. We use 5/16" ID hose because of the CMBecker flow control faucets. They work better with larger ID hose.

    • @thebackyardbrewer5611
      @thebackyardbrewer5611 Před 3 lety +1

      Wow that's nice beer and gas line! Thanks for the reply, if I could get that hose down under i probably would 🍻 Over here the most common beer line is either 4mmID or 5mmID with 8mmOD and you would use 1 to 1.5 metres with standard taps to get the right flow pressure at the tap
