So they got Survivor to write a song instead, and because they had already used the Queen song, they needed a song with the exact same tempo to replace it. That is why the song is so similar down to the time signature.

Stallone is an absolute legend. Rocky and First Blood are still, to this day, two incredible, heart-wrenching movies (the sequels are amazing too). And the personal story behind him making Rocky is truly inspirational. You should be proud to resemble him. Also, this part at 1:22 and following is just pure bliss.
