Hi sir, I have a different opinion on your example of buyung a put at 500 instead of buying the stock at 520 as i am ready to buy at 520 at t=0 as I believe it will go up. At at t=4 if it goes below 500 , I may not want to buy it at even 499 as the market factors have changed. To sum it up 520 at t=0 and 500 at t=4 are different and our outlook may ne diff at these 2 points.
