    Inputs aren't jacks, sorry if I confused some of you guys. Inputs are inputs, outputs are outputs. When I'm discussing the different connectors, I meant say "jacks" instead of "inputs." Sorry.
    Edit:
    I also didn’t mention the XLR connections as a major upgrade! Major mistake peeps! So you aren’t just going to potentially move up to 1/4-inch (6.5mm) jacks or RCA, but XLR as well!

    Make sure the headphone mix is turned up on the DJ controller, i was stuck on that for literally 2 hours (flx 4) and if you are using an audio interface for speakers etc. you need to select that as your output.

    I have found the front jack for monitor port at the front sounds muddy, which makes mixing kind of hard as a beginner - do you think the power in could be the issue here? I have tried it with and without the XLR mixer I use and I don't seem to have any joy. My headphones shouldn't be an issue as they are 32 and the sound definition on them in a regular device is really clear.

    • @heartwithreason
      @heartwithreason  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Possibly a faulty headphone input bro. The headphone wire itself might be the issue. Contact Pioneer DJ and/or return the controller after you test if the wire is faulty.

    Hey im using my Hyper X Cloud 2 headset with 3,5mm jack for my ddj 400 (thought i dont need new headphones right away).
    But for some reasons i cant hear the low frequencies while queueing a song on these phones. So i dont hear kicks.
    Might the reason be that the headset normaly uses an external sound card where you plug in the 3,5mm?

    Hi i newly bought a DDJFLX4. Does the headphones works when the sounds is given only through RCA cables. Won't it work on a JBL Charge5? Pls help

    • @heartwithreason
      @heartwithreason  Před 4 měsíci

      I don’t know bro, test it out. There might be a delay if you connect your controller to your Charge 5 directly from your computer through bluetooth. I would highly recommend cables as there won’t be a delay. But the Charge 5 doesn’t have an aux input so you would have to go with bluetooth with that speaker. I would recommend buying dedicated stereo speakers like the Bose Companion 2 for monitoring purposes. Hopefully this was somewhat helpful.

    Got iphone bluetoothed to the flx 4 and no sound from speakers? Any help?🙏

    • @heartwithreason
      @heartwithreason  Před 11 měsíci

      How did you connect the Bluetooth? The default bluetooth settings might not work from your iPhone to your controller. Try using a FREE app called “Bluetooth MIDI Connect” by KORG.
      ➡️ (here is the link to it) apps.apple.com/us/app/bluetooth-midi-connect/id1108321791
      I had similar problems trying to connect from a DDJ200 to my iPad. That MIDI app worked for me. I’m not certain it will work for you though.
      The point is to connect to Bluetooth through that app instead of through the default Bluetooth settings from your iPhone because the default bluetooth settings don’t allow you to modify controls on your controller. Therefore output sound won’t work.
      Just so that you are aware I was using a completely different software. I was using the Djay app by Algoriddim NOT Rekordbox. I think it really depends on what DJ software you are using.
      I hope some of this was helpful! Let me know if you have more questions!

    • @heartwithreason
      @heartwithreason  Před rokem

      There could be many different problems with that explanation. When you say synced, do you mean the headphones are synced up via bluetooth or physically plugged into the controller? Where specifically can't you hear sound? Headphones or speakers or both? If the problem lies with the headphones, did you try pressing the cue buttons on the channel faders to see if sound would play back?

    Using ONLY USB C as a connection method for your computer to OUTPUT AUDIO to ITS CONNECTED DEVICE EG BLUETOOTH is perfectly fine. YOU DO NOT NEED to use the RCAs only.

    • @heartwithreason
      @heartwithreason  Před 3 měsíci

      There might be latency if you go about it like that. Bluetooth isn’t as reliable as a wired connection. My suggestion is to get accustomed to RCA as it is still a standard. But at the end of the day it’s up to you bro.

    • @TheTubejunky
      @TheTubejunky Před 3 měsíci

      @@heartwithreason You are correct! I experienced latency with the output through my usb C to computer output. about 500ms difference from headphones to computer AUX speakers. Will this also affect a stream being as I would need to use USB-C to stream my output ?
