- Dylan and I randomized our starter pokemon in Scarlet and Violet but theres a twist! We Will have to blindly choose our starters only knowing the first letter of their name! Then whewn building that pokemon we have to use moves, and abilities that also start with that letter! We then build our teams the best we could and then we fight in a 6v6 Pokemon battle! It's obviously better content when they know they missed something good. So why wouldn't they do it? It doesn't make sense to me.
The worst part is they still do that as you can tell when Dylan says "an excadrill would've been helpful for that" it's just that they keep trying to make these videos shorter and end up cutting out the good parts

Instead of using just the first letter, what if you can build the moveset using only the letters in the pokemon's name. I feel like it would open up the variety of movesets you can build, but If you have a pokemon with more than 6 letters in it's name, you can't use the same letter twice. (6=Moves, Ability and Item)
Tobin, you were on to something with the green Dialga. He was like grass and rock in the team subbit games I believe

I have an idea for a video. There’s a site online where you can take a Pokémon name quiz, trying to name all of them of a certain type, generation, etc. You use a wheel to choose a generation at random and try to name all of them in that gen. If you get them all, you get to choose one and customize it however you want. If not, you’re randomly assigned a Pokemon that you missed, and can only customize it within its vanilla parameters. This happens 6 times, you build a team, then you battle.
I know that shorter videos probably do better but can you guys please stop cutting out half the video? Revealing the other starter choices is the main thing that makes picking the starters entertaining, and during the battle so much info was cut out like why couldnt you use needle arm? I assume it wasnt in the game but idk for sure because it was cut out. Why isnt your necrozma the solgaleo form? It feels like these videos are heading in a tiktok direction where they're getting shorter to appease the algorithm but losing most of what made them interesting as a consequence

Video Suggestion! Mod the game to give Pokémon 2 abilities. I think it'd be cool to see everyone strategize the most broken abilities combos, some would synergize so well together.
Would love to do that but that’s easier said than done. I have no idea how to do it.
@@ShortTempered awe that's unfortunate, I don't know much about moding, was hoping it was possible; I got the idea from a ROM hack that had multiple abilities.
@@ShortTempered your modder would use As One as the template and stuff the new abilities with whatever pairs of abilities you and your opponent selected during the selection process.
