- Tried going to a DJI Action 2 to shed 100grams and flying without stabilization to try it out.
Nothing wrong with a little stab. This isn't some sort of statement.

🔥 RIP! On this journey myself! GoPros have gotten too 🤬 heavy, so Action 2 FTW. DJI stab is pretty terrible in my experience, so trying out no stab. Sure a lot harder than you'd think!
imo in bf 4.3 no stab is pretty easy and not hard at all cause you can dial in as much smoothness or as much stick precision as you wish.

Super RIPs... loved the "conjertable" as Danish calls it at 0:16 and the wall rides were dope... especially at 2:18 into flow. 💯💥🔥 This is different from most Act2 footy... the edges aren't warping. Maybe stabilization is hurting the footy?
Yeah, I'm running regular wide instead of Ultra-Wide. So it's comparable to Superview without the stretching. I miss some of the image fidelity of the GoPro. But, man...I don't think I can go back. Unless GoPro turns around and gives us another session type thing.
@@DanZfpv - Please stay with regular wide. The ultra-wide is nearly unwatchable IMO. Many notable FPVers have made that choice and I find the footy very WARPED.

I add a film grain to soften the sharpness and take the edge off the whites/blacks. I also bring up the shadows up a good amount. I like having less contrast overall.
What settings on the action 2? Im running an ND8/16, 4k48, iso 400-1200, no stab.
I’d recommend 4k @ 30fps, iso100-800. And then I’d use the ND filter that helps you get the appropriate exposure. 80% I’m using an ND8.

@@xORLOCKx FWIW. For 16x9 video YT is optimized to give you the best bit rate per frame at 30fps. Once you start going outside of that you’ll be swapping image quality for more FPS.
@@DanZfpv I've been exporting all my final edits to 4k/60.. would 4k30 be better?
@@xORLOCKx I would recommend exporting in the source frame rate of what you’ve shot. So if you shot 48fps. Then export 48fps.
If you want the highest image quality possible. Start shooting 4K @30fps and exporting the same.
