- The EV6 is here, but not really. Coming out next month, March 21, 2023, it may be a while before we can give a proper Behind the Wheel review, but not a Walkaround! First impressions of the EV6? It's gorgeous. Stay tuned to catch more of it soon.
This is the Kia EV6, it's here but not really. Not yet at least. Get a first look of the model here on this AutoDeal Walkaround.

This is the first full EV I'm actually excited about. It's gorgeous! Wonderful review as always. ✨️
What an amazing EV from Kia and the colour is awesome, great review Caco & Jack.
Came across your video on CZcams kia and hyundai are really pushing the envelope with technology and engineering better built than German cars and best warranties on the planet got myself a new kia proceed gtline 7 year warranty keep up the good work 👍 kev from United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Was waiting for the 'Achoo' test. I think 19:36 counts haha. Fun review as always AutoDeal!
When i first saw this along c5 in January i think. I was so amazed! Very beautiful. I was having a hard time identifying the brand due to kia usually changing their logo design 😊
Kia cars look really amazing, i love the design. 👏👏👏
Looks great. Only sad part is charging stations are still very few in metro manila. And people like me who lives in a condo has no way to charge EVs at home. Sucks really. Probably still 5-7 years away from having a decent amount charging stations.

looool. This is why I love watching caco reviews. His comedic timing is just top notch.
I like the added key fob feature that allows you to move the car forward or backwards.
TWICE and NewJeans cameo makes the video deserving of my like.
Timestamp?

Agree 😌✨💕
WTF
Who is NewJeans a Kpop group?
Comparo between EV6 vs ionic5.
Rode one last week in Shakopee, MN. A lot of Teslas ply the streets but the EV6 has more style. And acceleration is crazy quick.
I test drive one here in Glendale, CA. Honestly, I like it better than Tesla model Y
Nice “content video” again from you guys. 👏 Hoped there were audio samples from those meridian speakers. 😮💨
kudos to you caco, great presentation indeed. just one comment regarding the price (below php4m), maybe it will have quite a stiff competition when the 2024 mazda cx-90 hybrid is out in our philippine market. what do you think?
wala pambili pero manonood pa rin hahaha
So no one’s gonna talk about the moonlight sunrise in queue?! Let alone the review, these guys are 🔥🔥
Only ONCEs understand 😅🍭
Waiting for the comparison between the EV6 and Ioniq 5 since they share the same platform.
Nice! Looking forward to have my own EV soon!
Can't wait for the more powerful EV6 GT to follow suit, that would be a blast to drive!
It is a blast. I just got mine. I live in Canada. The car just wants to go fast!!
Damn, guess I'll wait for EVs to become 2nd hand cars before buying one. Love the review, love the car
You dont want to do that unless you are sure that battery has been properly replace before buying it. You know what I mean 😊
You r one of d most and great vlogger,,, well explain, nice narrative feautures of car,,
I love to hear the meridian surround audio system you forgot to play it on 🙂
Yung whine during acceleration🥰🥰
Great review as always...
Caco has never been this excited before.
This looks really cool, when he started driving he was like inside the spaceship😂
14:42 yes stream moonlight sunrise
That looks amazing!
Great video! I'm getting my GT Line AWD next week 🙂 Regarding the heated chairs and steering wheel - Believe me when it's -20 Celsius outside you would LOVE those features ;-)
Not here in the Philippines. 🤦♂️
Never even goes down to *positive* 20 Celsius over here (unless you're in Baguio)
I bet Autodeal is ONCE!!! love it
Consider adding over a million for a Mercedes EQ EV crossover. And running this vid at 1.75X play speed if you don’t have 27 mins. Caco is so damn good, he’s still very much comprehensible
Good to see that manufacturers are starting to bring EVs into the PH and that a company like Ayala is building the charging infrastructure. The range on this car is more than enough to get you to and from work for more than a week without needing to charge. Realistically you’ll be charging from home more than 90% of the time. Kudos to Kia for bringing this to the Philippines.
How much sir
@@enricomanalaysay6337 in the US it starts just under $50k
you forgot to compare this to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 which is on the same platform and share many parts. which is, also that last EV you drove. Price is still problem, the GT costs $52,900 in the US, under 3M pesos; spend 3M on internal combustion car and spare change 1M for fuel.
Sir anong gamit nyo pong camera?
Impecable design! I'm a VW fan and I'm comparing it to the ID.4 Crozz and the EV6 is starting to gain my attention even more.
This (modern looking), or the (retro) Hyundai ionic 5?
Ay 🤭 wala nga pala akong pambili hahaha
that looks promising, hoping for more EVs to come on PH market.
Went here again because it is finally launched today 🎉❤
Tantyameter, very accurate method of measurement. I like it a lot 😂
OMG! I remembered Linus Tech Tips getting so frustrated about that front console controls! LOL Personally, I find that's gonna frustrating as well. KIA should have just separated the climate controls from the audio controls. Extra knobs wouldn't hurt. Not everyone wants everything to be digital.
Super ganda dream car ko na to!
as much as I want to have this now but I think I will wait for more years for it to be easy to use as a day to day car for outside the city travel.
The Future is here and I'm all for it
19:35 they go nyyeeeoooowww
That bumpy road is from Valle Verde area in Pasig I can tell from the houses on the backround. I hope Mayor Vico is watching he's from that neighborhood that road needs to be fixed.
My answer is NO if it is not your lifestyle.
Should you buy a fully electric vehicle (Battery Electric Vehicle) in the Philippines?
I speak from my experience of buying one, owning one, driving one, and understanding one.
Here are my top 3 reasons why:
1) Lack of charging stations and charging standards. Most commercially deployed chargers in Manila are Level 2 - the ones for home use.... and there are less than 20 of them scattered all over the Philippines with no standards (Compare that to 55,000 in the US and around 11,000 in Australia - with 400 charging stations in the city of Brisbane alone)
Assuming your EV has a CHADEMO type charger with a standard 80kWH battery:
Level 1 plug socket charger (10 amperes single phase) will take around 44 hours. Level 2 home chargers (22kW or 100 amperes 3-phase) will take around 4 hours. But for the standard home, Level 2 single phase (7.2kW 32A) will take 12 hours. Level 3 super chargers (350kW DC Chargers) will take around 20-35 mins.
2) While range is not a major issue in my opinion for Manila streets since the typical distance driven daily is around 10km, an 80kWH EV has a 460km WLTP which in other words is around 385km assuming you are frugal on electrics (the BMW has a 74-6 kWH configuration - 74 for electric motors and 6 for the accessories). If you don't want to worry yourself about planning your daily trips because of these numbers or the lack of understanding of what these numbers mean, EVs are definitely not for you.
3) EVs rely heavily on proper road networks (which we do not have in the Philippines). They need lane markings, standard traffic signages, kerbs, and other basic road network requirements. These things are needed by the EV for ADAS to work properly.
EVs are like mobile phones with wheels. They are not your traditional car that got converted to battery power. They are electronic gadgets. If their environment does not have the necessary outboard infrastructure, then it is a waste of money to buy one.
Owning them is a lifestyle decision - even in a first world country that is advanced with infrastructure.
Talk to someone who owns one. Do not talk to a salesman or rely on information published by a car magazine reporter or on youtube who borrowed it and drove it for a week.
Is touch screen for charging port really a good idea?
Twice playlist makes it more interesting ❤
I really ❤your explanation.
Please give prices in USD.
THANKS 👍
Hoping for ev to become more affordable in the near future.
its always fun watching your videos sir. you really have a great sense of humor. but ive been waiting since day one fot u to make a review then relay it to ur audience using tagalog🙂🙂🙂😂
Tagalog? Doing that would alienate us bisaya audiences. ;)
Man, still waiting on the 2023 Sportage Hybrid
Wait the chargeport is American j1772 standard?
Edit: does this mean it's the us spec we get?
Comparo: Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq-5
how good is rear visibility?
How its works? Pde ba yan luzon to visayas long drive? Saan nman mag charge if ever lowbat
This thing is gorgeous!
Nice Cyberpunk 2077 transition you've got there @ 18:06. 🤣
im excited to see EVs on the phil road
The best in its class as per Consumer Report Mag! The problem is the charging station! Are they pervasive in the Philippines.
great review
Kia is on point on this design. Beautiful!
With its very low ground clearance its not gonna drive well in the PH..
@@KevinTroy777 I'm sure yung bibili naman neto eh alam saan ang magandang daan yun nga lang pag long drive medyo need mag research sa target location kung suitable ba siya i drive. .
How is the battery life? Do you need to change the battery every 5 years? Another question is the maintenance. How much is the maintenance of this car?
I saw this once in BGC and everyone's staring at it
A great review!!!👌👌👌👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏
Kumusta ang aircon sir?
I've been watching you guys for a while now. Now I'm rewatching to find hidden gems of what kpop songs you place in the infotainment 😁😁😁
16:12 "this is jack's thermos that he's obviously compensating for something" lmao
Why does the launch date sound like a hint to its pricing? =P Excited to test drive this.
its a nice car! Just sat in one earlier and its a wow! Like i am awed! I came w the Range Rover SVR but i still got wowed by the EV6. It looks sexy and very simplistic, price is really good too. Reason why i sat in one, gas is getting expensive! $600-$800 monthly on gas dont make sense
Kia's up there already. Not anymore a pushover
0:56 Is the car owner a Once?
I share Caco's sentiments as to how good looking this car is. That Sport mode really kicks. The camera got nudged so hard. lol
How cool is the aircon?
Exterior design is daaang 🔥🔥🔥
Nice job and car is superb. But like almost all non tsla EV’s the wait period is ridiculous.
27min video, but all helpful info is found at 25:35. Honestly just lay the side comments aside, people watching this doesn't want to know how the brand is portraying the product, but how practical it is to buy and use in a country like PH.
Spec, design, practicality, performance, price. All under 10-12min. All in a regular consumer stand point
seems you forgot to talk about the paddle shift. It's what i'm waiting for.
I've never been this early. 😂 I usually watch your vids a month it was released or a year even. Hahaha Btw, still a splendid review, Caco. 👏👏👏
Relate much
Beautiful car, really, just beautiful!
Madami dto yan sa Ontario Canada. Maganda talaga yan.
Nice Review and Nice EV Car, I hope Hyundai will released the Hyundai Accent EV Version. 😊
19:35 wow!
So how do you charge this in the Philippines? What if you need to go for a long drive?
ANG POGIIII 🔥🔥🔥
Nice to know that EV's are coming to PH...the question is....can we use it in the flooded streets of Manila??? or this is just for the rich with multiple cars in their garage?
Ohh shit !!! Kia nailed it !
At what Ave. speed for the 500km/charge? Tnx
The F150 Lightning (and probably the Hummer EV as well) would like to have a word with you Caco with regards to the largest power bank on the planet bit.
Anyways I do hope the home chargers have installation with the purchase price. Who better to install than the guys who sell them.
Sir sa baguio pwde yan use baka maubos battery
Stunning 🔥
Wait. Moonlight sunrise! Good choice!
why is the slow portable charger for "emergencies"? In an emergency don't you want to charge quickly?

Caco, did Kia mention if that price tag accounts for the tariff cut already signed by Malacanang? Seems a bit stiff.
Kaya nga estimates ko pa mga 2.5 - 3M. Wow male 4M shocks.
Why kia's great on design
