Alliances should boost a states protection and attack.
Defence: plus 2 per ally
Attack: plus 1 per ally
Example: Iowa and Nebraska are allied, if Iowa is attacked it will need 12 points to be taken over but if it is attacked over 12 points Nebraska will receive the overflow and be attacked (only if allies borader eachother). If Iowa attacks it will only need 9 to take a state.

You should have critical victory and critical fail on a 20 and a 1. Like if you roll a 20, the attackers keep going and attack someone else. And if they roll a 1, then the defender conquers the attacker instead.
I wouldn't say the defenders conquer the attackers, rather they take about 30%of the attacker's land's. But I fully agree with the critical attack.

Also if you get 5 it’s 20%, 4 40%, 3 60%, 2 80% and 1 100%, same with critical victory but 5 = 16, 4 = 17, 3 = 18, 2 = 19 and 1 = 20. Only 20 can make you attack someone else and if the defender wins 2 wheels get spun to see if it attacks someone else and if they succeed, 10 or higher is more attack, anything less is no more attack. If they do get a 10 or higher, the other wheel gets spun to see if it succeeds or not. If extremely lucky this may end up in somebody conquering the whole country in one turn.

I think that when you roll for a war, either side should be able to win. So like a 1-3 would mean the defender fully wins and 17-20 means the attacker fully wins, and 10 and 11 would be small victories respectively

drew, i advise if you dont wanna mess up land, you can put the capitals on a different layer and then erase them from that layer, which leaves the layer below unharmed
also, if theres an option, you can turn off antialiasing

You should('ve) make(/made) 1 a complicate Uno Reverse counter offensive and 2 a counter offensive stopping at the latitude or longitude of the capital.

Suggestion:
You should make the nations take land mass proportional to their size. So if 5 on the dice they would take enough land to increase their size by 50 %, if they roll a 10 they take land to increase 100 % in size and if they roll a 20 they take enough to increase by 200 %.
This would make it so that smaller nation are actually weaker while larger nations are stronger and can more easily take out their entire opponent.
This is bound to be good! Can’t wait!

To give ideologies a use, you could negate warfare based on it. E.G. communist would be a bit weaker than a capitolist so if they roll 10 they get 4/5ths instead

I use MapChart's war games simulator, along with the advanced WheelOfNames, which allows you to make bigger states/countries be more likely to win. Just a thing I do tho.

He probably wont see this but he should do it where 1-10 the defender takes attacker land (10 being annexing and 1 being very little and 11-20 the attacker takes defender land (20 being annex and 11 being very little) it would make the whole thing pretty interesting
I vote empires should be given a serious buff in terms of defense. For example if a 1-state nation attacks a 3-state nation, they should have to roll a 10 to take the initial state they attack, a 15 to take the second state in the union, and a 20 for the third.

What if drew added environmental hazards, hurricane, earthquakes, famine, floods, which could half the amount of damage done. And increase the chances of civil war. And there could a dice for the allies to subtract damage done to the allies or increase damage done.

I like the dice idea, but they're attacking first, not the only one attacking. So a 20 means they take over the entire state, a 10 means nobody gains any territory, between 11 and 20 means that the state that attacks first gains territory, and a one through nine means that the defending state gains territory. State gains territory. Can't just have the attacking state winning all the territory. In the first example where Virginia fought North Carolina, and the roll was a 10, then neither state should have won any territory.
