It originally referred to the space created between two mirrors-an infinite abyss of reflections-and was then picked up by the art world to describe the “painting within a painting within a painting” phenomenon. It’s a lot like an idiom-the literal translation is not the correct meaning at all-for example, when we “break the ice” with someone, we don’t *literally* break any ice. If a non-english speaker said “breaking the ice” means to become friendly with someone and you said “no, it means to break ice into pieces-that’s the literal translation!!!” you’d be wrong. As someone who played the original game, I apriciate the "draw me a goat" reference (I atleast hope its in reference) to when you write out goat and get the goat you need to save, and the Flying squirrel OS in reference to when the Squirrel of the game steals your key and you have to get it back😁 I love the references It brings baxk the memories of going on cool maths games just to play this😢
The game aside, Sean did a smart move in putting the gameplay of the not game in one video. It kinda makes the game even more complete since the struggles and attempts are present. Props to the dev for an amazing game and props to Jack too!

This game is totally giving me "There's a MONSTER at the end of this book." Grover is the "narrator" who is constantly trying to get you to stop turning pages. Anybody else know what I'm talking about here? It was my favorite book as a child. The narrator in this game is giving me Grover vibes especially. Lol.
The part where GiGi sings the code is my absolute all time favorite part of this game. It’s such a clever puzzle and it really fits with its place in the story plus the singing is amazing and the song absolutely SLAPS it was stuck in my head for 3 days when i first heard it and I was so eager to see it again when I saw you uploaded this video. So creative and beautiful, I love it!
The song is great! It's also the most annoying thing when someone keeps shouting over it instead of shutting up and listening to the game's dialogue / song that tells them how to progress.

Well, technically, it was called 'Break-Out,' but the fact that anybody remembers it is amazing as it came out in the late 70's as well as the early 80's alongside 'Pong' and 'Centipede' ('Snake' didn't exist until the early 2000's when it was a mobile game for cellphones). These games all came out for the Atari.
The fact that this game even exists today gives me hope in a weird way. Like the kickstarter for it failed but he still made it, he still followed his dreams even after that and we now have been blessed with this amazing experience of a game. Shout out to the developer.

The closest i think to a game where you are "in a box and have to interact with the environment by changing the perspective of the game" is Super Paper Mario which was a really great game in all rights.
Jack's frustration is almost tangible. It's super frustrating to watch him get stuck, but absolutely hilarious when he figures it out and it's the most ridiculous logic being used to progress.
Oh I've seen this dimension-hopping concept before. It was in a Phineas and Ferb movie. Supposedly, there is a whole circle of dimensions, and there's some kind of dimensional flow connecting them going clockwise. Meaning if you travel from one dimension to another, you automatically end up in the one after that if you dimension-hop again. There is a way to go against that flow, but it would a massive amount of energy, and I doubt a system with that little memory can handle such a powerful energy flux. In other words, Game and User are going to have to go through a literal gauntlet of games to get home.

The part where GiGi sings the code is my absolute all time favorite part of this game. It’s such a clever puzzle and it really fits with its place in the story plus the singing is amazing and the song absolutely SLAPS it was stuck in my head for 3 days when i first heard it and I was so eager to see it again when I saw you uploaded this video. So creative and beautiful, I love it!
The song is great! It's also the most annoying thing when someone keeps shouting over it instead of shutting up and listening to the game's dialogue / song that tells them how to progress.

Well, technically, it was called 'Break-Out,' but the fact that anybody remembers it is amazing as it came out in the late 70's as well as the early 80's alongside 'Pong' and 'Centipede' ('Snake' didn't exist until the early 2000's when it was a mobile game for cellphones). These games all came out for the Atari.
The first game that came to mind for me was Arkanoid, not that anyone would remember that game today, either.

Jack's frustration is almost tangible. It's super frustrating to watch him get stuck, but absolutely hilarious when he figures it out and it's the most ridiculous logic being used to progress.
Oh I've seen this dimension-hopping concept before. It was in a Phineas and Ferb movie. Supposedly, there is a whole circle of dimensions, and there's some kind of dimensional flow connecting them going clockwise. Meaning if you travel from one dimension to another, you automatically end up in the one after that if you dimension-hop again.
There is a way to go against that flow, but it would a massive amount of energy, and I doubt a system with that little memory can handle such a powerful energy flux. In other words, Game and User are going to have to go through a literal gauntlet of games to get home.
